Welcome to this guided chakra meditation,
A practice for meditating on the seven main chakras in your body.
In this meditation,
We bring our awareness upon each of the seven chakra energy centers,
Helping them open and balance,
Which in turn harmonizes the physical,
Mental,
Emotional,
And spiritual aspects of your life.
I invite you to begin by sitting in your normal meditation posture,
Cross-legged on the floor.
And if that's difficult,
Sit on a chair with your back,
Your shoulders,
And spine straight.
Or you could also lie down on the floor for this meditation,
Whatever position is comfortable for you.
Let's take a few deep breaths to calm our body and our mind.
Gently flutter your eyes closed.
Take in a long deep breath in through your nose and exhale slowly,
Gently through your nose.
Now as you exhale,
Sense any feelings that may come up in your body.
If your mind wanders,
That's okay.
That's what the mind does.
Always bring your attention and awareness back to the breath.
Let the breath be your anchor.
One more long and deep breath in.
And slowly exhale it out.
As you exhale,
Move attention to the base of your spine.
Feel the weight of your body resting on your root chakra,
Your chakra of support and belonging.
This chakra is located at the base of your spine.
Visualize your root chakra connecting you to the ground below.
Breathe into your roots and see them taking in pranic life force energy and nourishment from the earth,
Mother Gaia.
Now see the color red.
See your roots slowly becoming red,
Grounding you in the here and now.
Feel the earth supporting your existence and your being unconditionally.
Keep breathing.
In through your nose and out through your nose,
Following the natural ebb and flow of your breath.
Just rest in this awareness,
Breathing,
Relaxing.
When you're ready,
Move your attention to your lower abdomen,
Just below your navel or your belly button.
Here sits your sacral or passion chakra,
The seat of your creative impulse,
Emotional intelligence and pleasure.
Breathe into this chakra and see it gently expand like ripples on the surface of a lake,
A beautiful pristine lake.
See it flowing and moving freely like water.
Keep breathing.
Feel the water slowly expanding into your legs.
Now visualize the color orange,
Bathing the ripples and your chakra.
Feel the water nourishing and satisfying all your needs and creative urges.
Rest in the awareness.
See the two colors,
Red and orange,
And feel the support and nourishment of both the root and sacral chakras.
Breathe.
Breathe deeply.
Now move your awareness up to the area below your sternum between your chest and your navel.
This is the solar plexus chakra or your power chakra.
Breathe into your solar plexus chakra and see it fill up with fiery flames.
Feel the transformational heat and energy of fire,
Which changes everything that crosses its path.
Now visualize the color yellow bathing your chakra like bright sunshine,
Replenishing and nurturing.
Like the sun nourishes all life on our planet.
Feel your power getting stronger and stronger.
Your power to serve,
To help,
And to nurture other beings and your environment.
Let's stay here for a little bit and rest in the awareness.
Breathe.
Relax.
Now see the three colors,
Red,
Orange,
And yellow,
And feel the support,
Nourishment,
And strength of the root,
Sacral,
And solar plexus chakras.
Let's keep breathing.
Relaxing.
And when you're ready,
Bring your awareness up to the center of your chest to your heart chakra.
The chakra of love,
Compassion,
Empathy.
Now breathe into your heart chakra and see it soften and lighten with each breath.
Feel it expanding outward and gently caressing everything it touches like moving air.
Visualize the color green,
The rich sprouting color of spring.
Feel the fresh air renewing your chakra and the color green healing,
Providing new life to it.
See your heart expanding and sending loving kindness and compassion to all creation.
Keep breathing.
Relax.
Now you see the four colors,
Red,
Orange,
Yellow,
And green,
And feel the support nourishing you,
Strengthening you,
And loving you from the root,
Sacral,
Solar plexus,
And heart chakras,
Moving all the way up to your throat chakra,
The chakra of self-expression and your personal truth.
Breathe into your throat chakra and see it sending soft vibrations into the space or ether,
Visualizing the color blue,
The color of lapis lazuli,
Bathing your chakra.
Feel the chakra opening and clearing,
Freeing your ability to express your truth.
Now resting in this awareness,
See the five colors,
Red,
Orange,
Yellow,
Green,
And blue.
Feel the support,
The nourishment,
Strength,
Love,
And truth of the root,
Sacral,
Solar plexus,
Heart,
And throat chakras.
Keep breathing in and out through your nose.
When you are ready,
Let's move our awareness to the center of your forehead,
Right in between your eyebrows to the third eye chakra,
The chakra of intuition and insight.
I invite you to visualize a deep indigo color,
Bathing your third eye chakra,
Bringing clarity,
Insight,
And understanding,
And heightening your intuition.
Let's rest here for a moment,
Breathing,
Relaxing,
Allowing,
Expanding.
Now see the six colors,
Red,
Orange,
Yellow,
Green,
Blue,
And indigo.
Feeling supported,
Nourished,
Strong,
Feeling love,
Truth,
And insight of the root,
The sacral,
Solar plexus,
Heart,
Throat,
And third eye chakras.
Move up to the crown chakra.
Keep breathing.
The crown chakra is located at the top of your head.
It is the connection to your higher consciousness or divine spirit.
Breathe into the crown chakra and feel it opening up to the sky above.
Open.
Let it open.
Now visualize a violet or purple light,
Softly bathing your crown chakra and gently harmonizing you with the rest of creation.
Feel your oneness with all that there is.
Let's rest in the awareness for a little bit.
Let it open,
Allowing,
Expanding,
Softening.
See the seven colors,
Red,
Orange,
Green,
Blue,
Indigo,
And violet.
Feel the support,
Nourishment,
Strength,
Love,
Truth,
Insight,
And the connectedness of the root,
Sacral,
Solar plexus,
Heart,
The throat,
The third eye,
And crown chakras.
Let's rest in the awareness for a little bit,
Breathing,
Taking this all in,
Letting it integrate in your body,
Opening and softening your energy centers,
Feeling balanced and in harmony.
Relax.
Now slowly bringing your focus back to the rising and falling of your breath,
Feel and sense the perfection of this moment and bask in your own perfection.
You are perfect.
You are divine.
The divine being perfect in this very moment.
Continuing focusing on the breath.
Slowly coming back into the space that you're in,
Allowing yourself to make small movements,
Mentally wiggling your toes.
And when you are ready,
Open your eyes.
