This meditation is designed to help you connect with the wonder and awe of this beautiful planet we are all living on.
This beautiful blue pearl floating through space.
So closing your eyes and allowing your body to relax.
Know that you are safe and protected at all times.
Let's begin by taking in three deep relaxing breaths.
In through your nose and out through your mouth and as you exhale imagining any stress or tension leaving your body and as you continue to breathe in and out allowing calm and relaxation to shower your head.
Tightness from your head and your neck to disappear releasing any tension from your shoulders and your arms as your hands and fingers relax.
You continue to breathe in and out allowing this sense of calm to travel down your spine embracing your back your stomach and your hips as they all relax.
Now allowing this release to remove any tightness from your thighs and your calves as your feet and toes relax.
Feeling embraced in ultimate peace feeling as light as a feather and as you allow your body to relax even further beginning to notice the space between your breaths.
A moment of pause,
A moment of quiet as you allow your body to relax even more you begin to feel the space in your body now and your mind may have all kinds of thoughts and ideas of what it thinks should be happening,
What it thinks shouldn't be happening,
Maybe running various commentary and that's all fine.
There is no need to stop that just notice,
Let it go and move your attention back to your body,
Noticing where your body feels the most relaxed,
Noticing where there is a deep and comfortable and easy feeling of relaxation now.
Feel into that spot allowing yourself to go deeper.
Now I'd like you to see a big screen in front of you and on this screen you can see a version of you that is twice as relaxed as you are right now and looking at that vision of you twice as relaxed noticing how you look,
What you're doing,
Noticing the thoughts that you're having in your mind and then allowing yourself to float on into that version of yourself that is twice as relaxed.
Seeing through the eyes of this more relaxed you,
Hearing through the ears of this more relaxed you and feeling this greater sense of relaxation as you go deeper and deeper and you can notice my words and you can notice noticing my words and you can notice noticing how your body is relaxing,
Feeling relaxed and noticing the space between your breaths.
Now that you are feeling more relaxed let's connect with the sensation of wonder and awe of the world around us.
By connecting to this amazing feeling,
We boost our feelings of well-being within ourselves and these feelings benefit those around us,
They radiate out filling the world with peace and love.
Now taking your awareness to a beautiful forest,
Looking around and noticing the wonderful ancient tall trees.
These trees have been growing for hundreds of years,
Think about the things that these trees have experienced and seen,
Looking up in awe at the height and noticing all the creatures that call this tree home.
Feel the awe within your heart,
Seeing through your mind's eye,
You notice all the beauty,
All the life,
All the colors,
All the textures,
All the history and knowledge this tree and all the surrounding life has and you feel this awe and wonder growing within your heart and as it grows within your heart it radiates out beyond your heart,
Flooding your entire body with these wonderful feelings.
And your body now filled with this wonder and awe,
You feel these feelings radiate out beyond your body,
Radiating out throughout the entire forest,
These beautiful feelings and love and beauty and as you look around the rest of the forest you notice all the beauty you see,
You notice what draws your attention,
There is life everywhere,
It's beautiful,
Wonderful,
Amazing forest on this magical planet we call Earth.
This is only one pocket of this amazing planet,
So look around,
Immerse your senses to fully appreciate all the wonder and beauty around you.
Now turning your attention to a beach nearby,
As you move towards the beach you can hear the waves crashing along the shore and you begin to smell the sea air.
You reach the beach and you look out at the vastness of the ocean ahead of you,
Knowing,
Intuiting that there is so much life below the surface of the ocean,
Life that has lived there for thousands of years in total harmony with each other in the circle of life.
You smile to yourself and the amazingness of it all and you choose to go for a swim,
Feeling safe at all times and knowing that in this relaxed state and in your imagination you can swim for as long as you wish,
As deep as you wish,
Breathing underwater and communicating with the sea life with mutual respect.
You dive into the water and head out into the ocean and as you go further and further and deeper and deeper you marvel at the beauty,
The colors,
The shapes of the different sea life that you come across.
There are fishes and crabs,
And octopus and coral and seahorses and dolphins and whales and friendly sharks.
Every life form greets you with an open heart and you feel their love,
You feel yourself radiating out this love naturally and effortlessly.
We are all living on this one magical and amazing planet,
You feel your heart warm with love and wonder and all.
This planet is truly magical,
Truly amazing,
Truly beautiful.
You now choose to leave the ocean and fly high into the sky,
Higher and higher and you feel a freedom of gliding on the winds that surround our planet and you see yourself flying with the birds and the eagles and you feel a freedom this brings as you look down on this wonderful blue planet of ours.
From this perspective everything looks so beautiful and in harmony.
You choose to fly higher and higher and see the planet from the perspective of an astronaut flying to the moon as you do and as you look back at the planet you gasp at the beauty of this blue pearl as it hurtles through space.
This blue pearl that houses millions of lives and creatures and life forms,
This blue pearl that sustains life on so many levels.
You can't help but feel reverence and love,
This blue pearl our planet we call home is the gift for all of us and a gift we should all cherish.
You feel yourself sending love to this beautiful blue pearl and feel the love being reciprocated,
This blue pearl that gives us the resources to live,
To grow,
Fresh and to experience.
You feel your heart filled with so much love and so much awe and you smile as you float peacefully in space looking at our amazing home.
And now remembering all these wonderful feelings of wonder and awe and love and beauty,
You slowly bring your awareness back into the room you are in,
Back into your body,
Bringing your energy and awareness all the way down through your body down to your feet,
Grounding yourself in this moment,
Becoming aware of how your body feels,
Noticing the sounds that may be in the room or outside the room,
Allowing yourself to move your body a little and then in your own time when you are ready,
Allowing yourself to open your eyes and fully come back to the moment,
Bringing all these wonderful feelings with you for the rest of the day.
