I want to begin with energy protection practices.
Let's try a few different ways that you can protect your energy field by empowering it.
The reason we're empowering and not building walls or barriers is because walls and barriers actually take energy from your core to maintain them.
So instead we're just going to empower the energy that you are from the inside out,
Making you very strong so that you don't need walls.
The image that comes through for me is someone who is frail and small and needing a big wooden shield to protect themselves and carrying that shield around with them everywhere they go versus a large bodybuilder full of strength and mass in a way that they become the shield simply by being who they are.
The first practice we're going to do is bringing your awareness down into your heart center,
Your center of love,
And I want you to strengthen this center simply with intention and awareness,
Empowering your core energy of love from your heart center.
Now you can do this visually,
Through feeling,
Through words,
However you feel called to.
Beautiful.
Let's now empower you for protection from your solar plexus.
So in your upper abdomen is your center of self.
Tune into this area.
Does it feel confident?
Does it feel unsure or doubtful?
Let's invite it to expand from its deepest center.
So we're going deep into the center of who you are,
This unique and authentic you in existence,
And we're turning up the dial in radiance and your potency and letting that shine outwards.
Do this now.

Let's do a visualization.
I want you to visualize yourself as the world's strongest person.
This doesn't mean you have to have huge muscles,
But see yourself as if you can pick up the heaviest weights known to mankind,
Pushing a semi-truck up a hill and not breaking a sweat.
Take a moment to visualize this now.
Wonderful.
These are just a few ways you can try and build that potency of your energy,
Empowering yourself,
And letting this be your way of protecting yourself.
But I ask that you also be open to your intuition and the ways it wants to share with you how you can protect your energy field.
Let's take a moment to tune in and see what comes up for you.
Energy clearing practices.
Here are two practices that I love to do and I do them daily.
Let's start with the visualization practice.
So this is useful after and before an energy healing session,
Making sure you're not bringing in things from your day and also washing away anything that you may have picked up from someone else.
So close your eyes and let's visualize a large ball of light above you,
Letting this light rain down on you,
Creating a waterfall of light,
Caressing your skin,
Pouring down over the front side of your body,
Top of your head,
The back side of your body,
Washing through your body,
Through your cells,
Your tissues,
Down into the earth,
Washing through your entire aura,
Your energy field.
And lastly,
Let's do aura sweeping as this form of energy clearing.
You're going to actually use your hands for this.
So I start around the top of my head and I create a sweeping motion with my hands down towards the earth.
I'm doing this in the aura,
So in the energy field,
Not actually touching the skin,
But if you feel called to,
You can lightly brush your skin,
Whatever feels best to you.
Just making a slow sweeping motion down the front side of your body,
Over your head,
Neck and chest.
This is to pick up any heaviness and give it back to Mother Earth as if she's your dustpan,
Accepting it with love and open arms,
Going over your arms,
Your hands.
And then as best as you can reach,
Try and go behind your head,
Your neck and your back.
You can reach behind your hips,
Do a bit of your lower back and down your legs.
And if you're sitting,
Lifting your feet,
Getting the top and the bottom of the feet.
This is a place energy can stick as well.
Give your hands a little shake when doing energy healing.
These are some of our main tools that we work with and energy can really stick to the hands,
Not just in energy healing,
But in our giving and receiving,
Our dealings with the world and people.
It seems to be a place energy sticks to.
Give them a good shake and I won't ask you to do this now,
But usually after a session,
I'll wash my hands up to my forearms in cold water.
This feels lovely for the energy and very refreshing to clear it off.
Beautiful.
Let's do a couple of grounding practices.
The first one is a visualization.
So with your eyes closed,
I want you to picture this extension from your feet down into the earth,
Like roots of a tree pulling you down into the earth towards the core of the planet.
And as you're reaching down,
Your energy is reaching down.
Be open to receiving the earth's energy.
Mother Earth sending her energy up to you.
So there's this two-way flow circuitry happening right now.
Energy from earth rising up into your feet,
Your legs,
Your hips,
Into your entire body,
And then your energy reaching down into the earth.
See if you can tune into flow.
Maybe it's going left to right or your front of your body coming in,
Your backside of your body energy going out.
Whatever feels best to you.
Connect with her connect with her energy now.
Lovely.
Another powerful grounding practice is using the sense of touch and physically touching your body.
This is a nice way to call that energy and that awareness back into your present being,
Into your physical self.
So start with your head,
Applying a little bit of pressure around your skull,
Your face,
Your neck,
Squeeze your shoulders.
This can also be a lovely self-massage.
Touching your chest,
Squeezing your arms,
Forearm,
Your hands,
Touching your belly,
Your legs,
And your feet.
Notice how you feel.
And a third practice for grounding is using sound.
Some sounds can awaken us in our higher senses,
And other sounds can be,
I want to say,
More alerting,
Bringing that focus and awareness back into our body.
Things like playing a drum or shaking a rattle.
