Back Pain Relief Meditation So,
What are you carrying?
And how much have you carried all these years?
You have endured quite a bit throughout your life.
And to get to the root of what's causing this pain,
It sometimes requires simply looking at what we are carrying.
Today,
I invite you to set it down.
To just simply set it all down.
So join me as we clear,
Release,
And protect the back.
Welcome to Breathe With Me,
Cailin Brie.
I'm Cailin,
And I'll be breathing with you today.
Your spine is the root of your body,
The tree of your life.
It is the foundation for every experience that you've been through.
The good and the not so good.
And it stores each emotional memory,
Waiting for you to acknowledge and accept it.
To let it go or to let it be.
Today we breathe into the spine,
The tree of our life.
So let's take a few connection breaths now,
Setting our intention and awareness at the spine.
I encourage you to sit,
Lie,
Or move through this meditation.
Movement can break up stuck energy and allow it to leave the body.
So just follow and breathe with me.
Let's begin.
Deep breath in through the nose,
Into the spine.
And just hold it at the top.
We're going to let it out through the mouth,
Slowing the breath down just a bit.
We're going to hold.
Another deep breath in,
Holding at the top.
And releasing the breath slowly,
Keeping our awareness at the spine.
And one more,
The deepest breath you'll take today.
Feeling the belly rise.
Just holding it there.
Feeling the breath connection.
And all the way out,
Slowest breath yet.
And in your mind,
Just say,
I set what I am carrying down.
And just let my voice be your voice and breathe with me.
I breathe into the base of my spine,
The sacred bone,
My root chakra.
Here is where I hold fear,
Financial worry,
And grief.
If it allows,
I simply sit and twist gently to tension,
Side to side.
Today I accept that fear is a message.
Worry is my ego.
And grief is simply a sign that I loved deeply.
I breathe into all of this with acceptance.
I set you down,
Fear.
I set you down,
Worry.
And I set you down,
Grief.
I am allowed to move forward.
And I let love in.
I breathe now into the lower spine,
My sacral chakra,
My identity.
And if it allows,
I just stand and bend at the waist and hang there,
Suspended,
Supported.
I breathe into this sacral chakra,
Knowing I am allowed any and all emotions that arise.
Here is where I feel shame,
Guilt,
And unworthiness.
I allow all pain to open,
To seep out,
And to release from my spine.
I set you down,
Shame.
I set you down,
Guilt.
And I set you down,
Unworthiness.
And I let love in.
I breathe now into the middle spine,
My solar plexus,
My power.
And if it allows,
I lay in child's pose or flat on my back with my earth supporting me.
I breathe into this area,
Knowing I am powerful,
Unique,
And beautiful.
For here is where I feel inadequate,
Weak,
And vulnerable.
And I allow these feelings to rise up and out.
I set you down,
Inadequacy.
I set you down,
Weakness.
And I set you down,
Vulnerability.
And I let love in.
And now I breathe into my upper spine,
The heart center,
My self-love.
And if it allows,
I open my chest while sitting and just expand fully.
I breathe into my heart,
Knowing I am supported,
Loved,
And cared for.
For here is where I feel undervalued,
Abandoned,
And neglected.
And so I allow these feelings to be filled with unconditional love.
I set you down,
Feelings of undervalue.
I set you down,
Abandonment.
And I set you down,
Neglection.
And I let love in.
Breathing in,
Let's just bring energy into the back.
Imagine every vertebrae is filled with white light,
Healing energy that you have welcomed in,
Protecting it.
And I ask that this stays with us as we navigate our lives.
Take a deep breath.
That saved a lot of energy.
And so let's move now into gratitude for this practice.
I am grateful for these emotions,
Every one.
I am grateful for this release,
Setting it all down.
I am grateful for all that I am,
All that I have,
And all that I will become.
And one last deep grounding breath,
Sealing this new energy into the spine,
Into the body,
And into my life.
I set it all down,
And I make room for new.
Thank you for breathing with me today.
Take care.
