**Note: If the mind is not really peaceful now, it might not be a perfect moment to listen to this podcast, one has to be aware of the emotions or reactions that can block one from listenING ATTENTIVELY. This talk is a meditation practice. What one needs to do is listen attentively, without getting stuck in words, examine the mind in silence, no agree or disagree, just look at the mind as it is. Doing so is already a meditation practice.

Transcript

To meditate is to listen attentively,

To inquire independently,

Without following any authority.

In the psychological world,

There is no authority at all.

You have to be free to inquire,

Free to understand,

Free to question.

In that very doing so,

The mind becomes quiet,

Peaceful,

Clear.

The self ends,

The ego ends,

The life is totally transformed.

So one has to live that way to verify this in person.

And this whole journey is the real meditation,

In the real sense,

In the authentic sense.

That's also the true meaning of Zen,

The true message of life that connects you and me as human beings.
