This meditation is called letting go and giving to Christ.
Make sure that you are comfortable either sitting down or lying down.
As you breathe in through your nose and out through your mouth,
Feel the tension leave your body.
Let's bring our attention to our breath as you breathe in through the nose.
See that your belly is filling up with air and as you release it make sure it takes any stress or anxiety with it.
Breathe in through the nose again and breathe out.
At this time see that there is a beautiful glowing light above your head.
As you continue to take meaningful breaths see that this light enters the crown of your head.
You can feel the warmth,
The peace and the love as it enters.
See that this light is filling all the spaces with warmth,
Clearing out any tension,
Worries,
Stresses.
And as it moves into the throat area see that it pulsates here sending in a clear message of powerful words that we say and that we hear.
Watch as this light continues into the shoulders.
As it enters that area it is relieving any tension,
Any pain,
Any suffering.
Now watch as this light continues to your heart and here it pulsates with the beat of the heart.
It can spread over your entire body very quickly,
Seamlessly,
Spreading light,
Warmth and peace everywhere it goes.
Now direct your thoughts to anywhere in the body that has resistance,
Anywhere that needs a little extra love or intention.
Ask your body to show you where these places are.
As you scan your body for any areas of pain or stress take this time to say a prayer and ask for divine guidance.
These things I have spoken unto you that in me ye might have peace.
In the world you shall have tribulation but be of good cheer.
I have overcome the world.
May these words give you peace and assurance on your path today.
We are never alone nor do we suffer by ourselves but with Christ all things are possible and all pain can be brought to light and healing.
Redirect your attention to your breath,
Breathing in through the nose and out through the mouth and as you start to come to wiggle your toes,
Open your eyes and feel the love of Christ still with you.
