You pick yourself and your entire life apart.
Like if you could just find the reasoning for why it's not working out,
You'll be able to take matters into your own hands and finally make it all click into place.
You've tried to find the solution and you've probably also spent most of your life fixating on little shifts in your reality that would just make everything so much better.
If you were in a relationship,
You would finally have someone you could share your life with.
Your life would be so much better if you were just making more money.
So how do you find acceptance for where you are in your life now,
Or your relationship,
Or your career?
If you don't like where your life is at,
Or you feel like you're really missing something major.
If there's a part of you that believes that your life would be so much better if you just had this one thing,
This one's for you.
When you surrender,
You open yourself to possibilities far beyond what you could ever pray for or think of.
As you start to move into this meditation,
I want you to consider,
Is there something in your life that you want more than anything to change?
Something that you just know would make your life so much better,
Or you'd be happier if you just had this one thing.
Are you constantly trying to figure out why you don't have it yet?
Like if you could just find the reason for why it's not happening,
You'd be able to finally make it happen already.
I invite you to begin by making yourself comfortable.
Take a moment to align your body and let your awareness shift to the natural rhythm of your breath.
Notice the inhale and how the air you take in expands your body as it fills your body with life.
Notice the out-breath,
How you are able to let go.
With each exhale,
Start to feel any tension in your body releasing.
Scan for any areas that are still holding on to something.
Relaxing the muscles in your face,
Releasing any tension in the neck or shoulders.
Surrender to gravity and let go of the resistance.
As you breathe,
Notice your body starting to soften,
Deeper and deeper into the surface below you,
How you can sink a little deeper with each exhale.
Give yourself permission to be present right now,
And to do just this.
Give yourself permission to absorb something new.
Constantly trying to figure out why something isn't happening for you is something we all do to some degree.
You pick yourself and your life apart with a fine-toothed comb.
Because if you could just fix this one thing,
If you could find the reason why you're not getting the clients,
Or why you can't seem to make more money,
If you could just find the reason why,
It would give you the control and the ability to do something about it.
And this leaves you constantly scanning for why you don't have it already.
But when you move into true,
Full acceptance,
And you can finally say to yourself,
I'm okay with how things are,
I love myself,
And I love my life today.
That's when you shift into surrender.
But we can't move into a state of true surrender while still holding on to the hope that once you do,
Everything will finally happen exactly how you want it to.
I feel your longing.
I feel your pain.
And I hear the story you've created of how things would just be so much better if.
I feel the attachment you have to find someone to share your life with.
I understand that making more money would give you the type of financial freedom and security that you've spent your whole life wanting.
And there's a part of you that's constantly trying to do everything you can think of to make it happen.
Maybe this will be my last first date.
Maybe this will be the Instagram post that finally makes someone notice me.
Or maybe this is the job that's going to change everything for me.
I know you want it so badly.
And I get that because I've been where you are too.
I really get it.
And I know that longing coming from your heart.
Because there's a part of you that believes that your life would be so much better if you just had this one thing.
There's a gripping that happens when you cling to the idea of something with so much intensity that it cuts off the flow of energy and the air that it needs to breathe.
For whatever reason,
You're being asked right now to move through this.
Can you stop trying to find the thing or the reason why you don't have the money or the person?
To give yourself permission to just stop.
Can you accept that this is your life right now?
If you feel resistance coming up around this,
It's likely because you feel like if you accept things as they are,
What you want so badly,
It won't happen for you.
But when we can accept,
Which is not resignation,
But really accept,
It's the knowing of,
I'm gonna be okay no matter what.
True surrendering doesn't mean giving up on a dream or a longing.
You don't have to give up what you want in order to surrender to what is.
Surrendering means that you can accept that right now,
This is where you are.
Right now,
In this moment,
This is what it is.
I come back to asking you to let go of the control,
Of the internal knowing that your life,
In this moment,
It isn't missing anything.
That you're actually whole and complete just as you are.
And that in this moment,
Nothing you're meant to have is missing from your life.
You've spent years trying to find the solution,
But what you likely haven't tried is to let go of feeling like you're not there yet.
You're learning to trust that whatever is for your highest good will come forward.
And to stop looking for all the reasons why it's not happening yet.
Whatever your life looks like right now,
It's so beautiful.
And maybe you haven't really allowed yourself to notice the beauty,
Or to let yourself really enjoy.
You are not a problem that needs to be solved.
You are fully okay with being exactly where you are.
You deserve to live in the present and to experience your life.
To be happy in the now.
To know that you are loved.
You don't need to feel like you're not there yet.
You can give yourself a break from the over-analyzing and the picking apart.
You deserve all of the happiness that your life has to offer you right now,
At this moment.
Trust yourself.
Trust divine timing.
I'm so proud of you.
