Hello and welcome.
Today we are going to do an exercise to expand our own energy and work towards increasing our intuitive ability.
The first thing to know is that anyone can be an intuitive.
Have you ever been walking down the street and had someone approach you and you just got that feeling in the bottom of your stomach?
I don't like that person.
Or have you lost your keys and thought,
I know they're over here.
Both of these are examples of when your intuition has kicked in and given you a little boost.
The second thing to know is that everything is energy.
The trees in the forest,
The worms in the ground,
Your bed in the bedroom,
And the breeze in the summer sky.
All of these contain a certain level of energy,
As does your body.
In order to enhance this energy in our own body,
It is important to understand where it begins and how it can expand.
First,
Take a seat in your chair and relax.
Feel your body sink into the chair while your feet touch the ground.
Take a moment to separate yourself from all of the thoughts of your day.
I like to do this by imagining an exact copy of myself,
Where I place all of my material thoughts and feelings,
My to-do lists,
My checklists,
And the experiences of my day,
And place them next to me.
Any time I have an additional thought or feeling that pops in when it shouldn't,
I push it to this exact copy material self and move back to the meditation.
Take a moment and take a deep breath in and out and move all those thoughts and feelings to the side.
Breathe in and breathe out.
Now let's go on a journey.
Let us journey to a happy space,
A place that makes you calm,
That invites warmth,
A place where you feel most comfortable.
Someplace with walls and doors and windows.
Built from the solid foundation of the floor.
And overhead,
A roof for protection.
Let's start first with something easy.
Imagine the lightest curtains in front of windows,
A gauzy fabric just breaking up the light from outside.
In your mind,
Evaporate these curtains into nothingness.
This should reveal to you a clearer picture of the outside world.
Continue to breathe as you continue to pull back the layers from each and every window.
Now let's start with some small furniture.
Look around the room and see if you have a small end table,
A small desk,
A floor lamp,
A cushion on the floor.
Identify any of these things and slowly with your mind,
Remove them from the space.
As you do this,
The space feels less cluttered,
More open.
Now let's move on to something heavy.
Is there a bed or a couch?
A heavy armoire?
A large desk?
In your mind's eye,
Imagine these pieces of furniture slowly dissolving into nothingness.
One by one,
You feel these pieces of furniture dissolve.
In its place,
You are able to expand your own energy and fill the room.
Breathing in positive energy and breathing out to expand.
Check in with yourself now.
How do you feel emotionally as you start to strip away the elements of this home?
You may feel lighter or untethered.
You may like this space now with less clutter.
Remember you are grounded to the floor as you continue to breathe.
Recognize that the structure that was built here was made to make you feel safe.
Next,
We're going to start with the doors and windows.
Slowly in your mind's eye,
Dissolve the doors and windows,
Leaving behind an even clearer view of the outside world.
Now you can feel that summer breeze coming in.
You may also get some bugs or a bird,
Some small critters who come into the space.
As you open the windows and the doors,
You are able to be more sensitive to the world around you.
Embrace that sensitivity as we move on to the next step.
Let's start with the ceiling.
Imagine that it is made of straw and can easily be removed.
Imagine that the roof and the ceiling are held together by very flimsy bindings.
As you let go of the bindings slowly in your mind,
The straw blows away on the wind.
With it,
This is opening up,
In your mind's eye,
A beautiful view of the sky.
You can now feel the warmth of the sun on your body.
Now,
The hard part.
Think about these walls surrounding you as made of bricks.
Sturdy,
Steady,
Comforting.
But also an impediment for you reaching out and touching nature to the fullest degree.
Imagine in your mind's eye that you are pulling away each of these bricks one by one.
Even though they are heavy,
This should feel effortless.
Stripping away the walls of this room or this house.
You are able to see more clearly the outside world.
You are able to connect with nature on a deeper level.
You notice a bird and a squirrel come in.
Maybe a ladybug.
A butterfly.
Leaves and branches.
Each of these things have significance in your life as you work to remove these walls.
Open yourself up to the experience of nature around you.
This work is so difficult emotionally,
But it should seem effortless now in this other space.
You've done it,
And all the walls are now removed.
The bricks are nothing but a figment of your imagination.
As you are now sitting in a chair surrounded by nothing but nature.
Take a moment to feel the wind on your face.
Feel the sun on your entire body.
All that nature has to offer you.
As you sit in this chair,
Feel the energy from within start to grow.
I like to imagine a flame at the center of my chest,
Ignited by the soul within,
That starts to expand as I breathe.
What does it feel like to you?
Is it a wave of color coming off your body?
A light expanding?
A change in pressure?
As you sit here with your walls down and your energy expanding,
The second part is to slowly lift up to a higher vibration.
There's no ceiling to how high you can go.
No limit to how far your energy can stretch.
Your feet remain firmly planted on this earth.
Sit here for a moment and expand.
As you are expanding,
As you are elevating,
Feel what is happening to your emotional self.
Do you feel any part of yourself that is tethered to an emotion?
Do you feel fear or anxiety deep in your stomach?
Do you feel your mind trying to take over?
Any of these feelings that you are unable to move outside of your body,
Try to wrap your own positive light energy around it and let it go.
You are one with nature that you sit in.
You are one with the breeze and the sun.
You are one with the earth and soil.
How does this make you feel?
I'll leave you for a moment to sit in the universe,
In the beautiful nature around you.
And now we are returning back to our chair.
Let yourself float down back into your body.
Again,
Start to feel the outside world around you.
Hear the sounds of the room.
Feel your fingers and toes.
Feel your heart beating.
And when you are ready,
Open your eyes.
Thank you for spending this time with me today.
