Hi and welcome to your morning energy alignment meditation.
To begin this practice I invite you to find a comfortable place to sit or to lay,
Perhaps you're still in bed.
And just take a moment to soften the body into whatever space that you're in.
Close down the eyes if that feels comfortable for you.
Taking a deep breath in and with the exhale just letting go of anywhere you may be holding onto tension.
Putting your attention on the flow of your breath as it moves in and out of you.
And notice where your mind wanders.
We wake up in the day,
We tend to go through this process of repeating.
Repeating old scenarios,
Feeling old emotions and really starting the day in the past.
What happens here is we then start to be the energy of the things that have happened to us,
Rather than cultivating the energy of all that we wish to happen.
So with every thought that comes into your mind just letting it go with the exhale and instead drawing to the minds eye this vision of how you want today to look.
Notice if any fear arises of how it might look and really try to switch that into how you desire it to look.
You can start playing out the day in your mind as though you're showing up as your highest self for every bit of it.
If you could write the program for today,
What would it look like?
Notice the energy that you're in with this visualisation in your minds eye.
How is the body reacting?
Can you begin to cultivate a sense of excitement for what's to come?
Optimism for the day ahead.
Joy in the fact that you're showing up in your highest self.
Savouring this sensation with the awareness that where we place our attention we also place our energy.
The energy we emit is the energy we attract.
So being in this positive energy for the day means that we can have a positive day.
