Begin by settling into presence.
Simply be aware.
Of the here and now.
Be very neutral in your awareness.
Meaning don't analyze anything.
Simply be open.
And non-reactive.
Notice your conscious awareness.
Is automatically running.
You don't have to do anything in order to be aware.
You already are aware.
Be aware of your senses.
But just be open to receive.
All of the information and signals that the senses receive without processing anything.
Don't analyze,
Don't name,
Don't interpret.
.
.
Just receive.
Let the world flow through you,
Let everything that you are aware of come,
Stay a while,
Then go.
Everything is changing.
Temporary.
Just passing through.
Do not attach.
Hold on to nothing.
Be clear.
Be empty.
.
.
Be spacious.
You can be aware of your body with this same neutral,
Non-reactive,
Non-attached awareness Simply be aware of the body like it's a passing phenomena,
A cloud of sensation.
Be the space in which the body appears.
So you are not contained within the body.
The body arises in you.
Like a cloud arises in the sky.
All things coming.
All things going.
Body,
Mind,
World.
Don't cling.
Let it go.
Just this.
Simple,
Present moment.
There is nothing outside of this.
There is no next.
There is no previous.
Just a neutral,
Non-reactive now.
Do not be frustrated by your own thoughts.
Those two can arise in this neutral space.
Thoughts are free to come,
Stay a while and go.
Don't analyze them,
Don't react to them.
Be curious and amused.
They can be here,
It's okay.
Just don't get involved.
In a moment,
We will be leaving the formal aspect of this guided meditation.
But notice that even when you are not meditating,
You are free to be less reactive,
To be more neutral in your awareness of experience.
Thank you for meditating with me today.
Take care.
Be well.
Stay present.
