
Confidence Building - Guided Meditation
This confidence building meditation is also very healing. The wind is used to cleanse, heal and build you back up so that you can let go of all the thoughts and feeling that hold you back. Stop doubting and questioning yourself. Build your self esteem and confidence in who you are, so you can achieve all of your desires!

My name is Kori.
Let's do this cleansing,
Purifying,
Confidence building meditation together.
Try and be cozy and comfortable for this meditation.
So you choose whether you want to sit or lay down.
Make sure that you've got a nice cozy blanket with you.
Allow yourself to feel safe and cuddled and protected by the blanket whether it's over your legs or wrapped around your shoulders.
Like a companion that you're bringing with you on the journey that we're about to go on.
Close your eyes and start to settle into your body.
While you're following your breath pay close attention to your exhales.
So every time you breathe out I want you to allow your body to feel as if it's sinking just a little bit.
Allow a sense of relaxation,
Surrender,
A falling sensation as if you're falling into yourself every time you breathe out.
Breathe in and don't pay so much attention,
Breathe out and really focus on the fall,
The surrender.
As you relax deeper you can allow your mind to start to open.
Using your imagination imagine that you're sat on a bench outside.
You're surrounded by trees and nature.
There's grass in front of you that's like a big lawn area and around that you can see bushes and flowers and trees.
Notice people here and there as if you're sat in some pretty public park somewhere.
Everyone that you see is busy doing their own thing in their own little world.
No one really notices you there.
And it's a cool windy day.
You have a big coat that's keeping you warm.
The wind is blowing and making lots of noises as it blows through the trees and around your head.
You can feel it blowing,
Moving gravel on the path and little twigs and things.
It's not a blistery windy day but it's windy enough that it's the perfect wind that would blow all of your cobwebs away.
One of those days where you just sit outside and allow the wind to take everything from you.
The chill in the air is making your nose and your cheeks cold but it feels really good like it's shaking you a little bit.
It's keeping you alert.
You find yourself staring off into the trees and you're watching them blow backwards and forwards and in different directions as the wind changes its moods and its form.
It's quite mesmerizing and relaxing just watching the trees doing their thing.
You blink and your eyes are glazed over and glossy because of the wind.
It makes them runny.
And there's a few tears that fall down your cheeks.
The tears aren't sad tears.
They're just wind tears.
An indication that the wind is starting to blow through you.
You open with a simple decision to let the wind start to blow everything away that feels like it holds you back or pulls you down.
You just declare it in your mind.
Okay wind you can take what I don't need.
And with that declaration you start to notice the wind has more of an intention and as it blows over you and through you things start to pop up in your mind.
Conversations that you've been replaying over and over in your mind.
Things that you've struggled to let go of.
They pop up and you imagine that the wind blows them out of your thoughts.
Grabs a hold of them on its way through and then travels as fast as wind.
Somewhere unknown and takes those thoughts with them.
And then you think about the things that you want to do as you move forward in your world.
The things you want to change in your life.
You start to think about the things that hold you back from not feeling confident and sure of yourself.
The worries or the repetitive thoughts that you have.
What if I'm not doing the right thing?
What if I made the wrong decision?
What if it's not the right time?
And the biggest one of all is what if I can't do it?
What if I don't have it in me to do what I want to do?
You stare at the trees there in front of you and you feel the wind heading in your direction.
And as it blows full force in your face and moves the hair across from one side to the other.
You say take it.
Take it.
Hold in your breath.
Pause in with your eyes closed.
As the wind blows through and takes all of your self-doubt.
All of those repetitive problematic thoughts that keep you not certain about your decisions.
The wind blows through and takes it.
Let the wind blow in different directions around you and over you and through you.
And imagine in your mind it's making sure it's got all of those thoughts.
It's collecting all of the doubts.
It's like a giant broom sweeping through your mind.
It sweeps over your brain and sweeps through your heart center.
When you think about it,
There's a small part of you inside that knows you can do what you need to do.
What is it that's there that's bigger?
That makes you doubt yourself?
That makes you think you're not that confident person?
You're not that capable person?
What thoughts are they that tell you that?
What lies are they that you hear in your mind that hold you back?
What do you find yourself saying over and over and over again?
That you've said so many times that you've just happened to convince yourself that it's true?
Even though deep down inside you know it's not.
You know you're capable.
Imagine you're bringing those thoughts,
Those statements,
Those words right to the top of your head and the next big gust of wind is just going to blow by and carry them away.
It's coming.
It's here.
Just tell the wind,
Take it.
Take all of it.
I don't need it anymore.
Sweep my mind clean of all doubt.
Sweep my heart clean of all fears.
Help me to be open.
Clean all of the cobwebs out of me so I can be confident.
So I can reassure myself that I am capable of doing what I set my mind to.
Sweep my mind clean of all the statements I tell myself that make me feel like I'm not good enough.
There you go,
Wind.
Take it.
Take all of it.
Imagine that you're opening your entire body to the wind.
Every cell,
Your bones,
Your muscles,
Your flesh.
Close your eyes and let your head fall back slightly.
Imagine your entire being up to being swept and cleansed and purified by the wind.
Let your mind and your heart be healed by the wind.
Let your confidence be renewed today in this moment by the wind.
It feels so good just blowing through your body.
Find out all the darkness and the shadows and the pain,
The heaviness.
Let the wind take all of it.
Surrender yourself.
Let yourself be vulnerable.
Let your heart open so it can be cleansed.
It's time to free yourself of self-doubt and fear and pain.
It's time to feel light.
Open confident once again.
Open your hands and let the wind blow through your palms and through your fingers.
Imagine in your mind that you're letting it all go as if it's falling from the tips of your fingers.
Let the wind spiral around your entire body.
Focus on your inhales.
Imagine you're bringing the wind inside of your body so nothing gets missed.
Every single part of your being is being cleansed and healed by the wind.
Breathe it in nice and deep.
Imagine you're bringing it all the way down to your toes.
And just like that,
You can open your eyes and make the statement,
And so it is.
And that will be all you need to do for your meditation today.
And so it is.
