Are you ready to meditate with Kori?

Are you ready to be so very very still and quiet so that you can relax your body and let go of your day?

First of all make sure that you are laying in a very comfortable position.

You can lay on your side,

Curled up and snuggled into a teddy or a big soft pillow.

You can lay on your back or on your tummy,

Whichever feels right for you.

I find the most comfortable position is the one that I like to fall asleep in.

So maybe lay in that position.

And then when you get into that comfortable position that's when you try and stay as still as you possibly can.

So try not to move around too much.

This way your body can start to get heavy and sleepy.

Take a nice big deep breath in through your nose and breathe out with a sigh through your mouth.

So it sounds like this.

You breathe in through your nose and breathe out through your mouth.

Once again breathe in through your nose and out through your mouth.

Nice big sigh.

When you sigh and you make that sound when you breathe out it brings a sense of relaxation into the body.

Like you're letting go of your day.

You're letting go of anything that's tense in your body that doesn't feel right.

You're sighing it out of your body.

Now if it feels good just close your eyes so that you can listen to me with your eyes closed.

Also with your eyes closed you can use your imagination and you can use the magic of your inner eye and start to see things in a different light in a different world.

We're going to go into an imaginary world together.

I'm going to close my eyes and imagine I'm going right there with you on a journey to a magical place.

You're going to find yourself far far away.

You're standing in the middle of some really pretty tall trees.

It's a very nice day,

Very pleasant day.

It's not cold and it's not warm.

It's just the right temperature.

The trees on your left are big and tall and very very green so it must be sometime in the middle of summer or spring.

The trees on your right look exactly the same.

Big tall green trees.

Straight in front of you you see a path.

So you start to walk down the path.

It's a very pretty path.

The trees on both sides of the path look like they make an archway over your head.

Just like you're walking down a green tunnel.

The sun is shining through the trees so it's nice and bright inside.

But there's no one else there.

Just me and you.

Step by step you just keep walking forward on the path.

We're both barefoot so you can feel the earth underneath our feet.

Feels warm.

The dirt is soft.

It's not gravelly or crunchy.

It just feels soft and warm so it doesn't hurt when we step on it.

It's very nice.

And because we're barefoot it feels like we're connected to the planet.

You're natureing.

You're grounding.

That means you're absorbing all the good energy from mother earth through your feet and into your body.

And in return you're sending energy into mother earth out of your feet and into her.

Because you're both living organisms sharing each other's energy.

And this always,

Always makes you feel good.

Being outside.

Breathing in the fresh air.

There's nothing better for your mind and your body.

It's what keeps you healthy connecting to mother earth.

Up ahead you start to see an opening where the trees are no longer there.

And instead you see a very big lake.

A big,

Big lake.

The lake seems to go on as far as your eyes can see.

You get closer and closer to the lake.

Then you see a rowboat.

The perfect size.

It doesn't look too big or too small.

Perfect size for me and you.

We climb into the rowboat together.

There's oars on either side of the boat.

You grab a hold of them and start to move away from the side of the river.

Deeper into the water.

The sound that the oars make as they go in and out of the water is very calming and relaxing.

And it's going over and over and over again.

Making the same sound which seems to calm down your body.

You start to get very relaxed in this rowboat.

You go further and further out onto the middle of the lake.

Now the sun feels a little bit warmer because there's no trees over your head.

You can feel the sun shining down on your skin,

Warming your muscles and your bones.

There's a gentle sway on the lake.

You decide to just stop.

You rest the oars inside of the boat so you don't lose them.

And you lay back and just rest for a moment.

Sun feels so nice.

It's like being laid on the beach on a soft,

Warm towel.

Just resting.

Doing absolutely nothing.

But instead of laying on the beach you're laying in the boat.

And the boat has this really cool sway as it moves from side to side and gently back and forth.

Just moving with the current of the lake underneath it.

Just like someone with very big,

Very,

Very big arms is rocking you.

Just like when you were a baby.

You were safe in your mommy's arms or your daddy's arms.

Whoever it was that loved you was holding you.

And they were moving and rocking you back and forth.

Gently keeping you safe.

Allowing you to just close your eyes.

Knowing that you're all taken care of.

And you're loved.

Just rocking you backwards and forwards.

Backwards and forwards.

Over and over and over.

And that's okay because you don't want to go anywhere else.

You don't want them to stop holding you.

Giving you the bestest cuggles.

You want this cuggle to just go on forever.

Because it feels so perfect.

You're not hungry.

You're not upset.

You're not sad.

You don't feel lonely.

You don't feel stressed.

You don't feel any of those other emotions.

All you feel right now is safe and comfortable.

And very,

Very loved.

You open your eyes just a little bit.

But it's getting harder and harder to keep your eyes open because it's so comfortable.

So relaxing.

But as you do open your eyes you look up and see the most perfect sky.

The clouds are all different shapes and sizes.

And if you stare at the clouds long enough,

You start to look just like that person's face looking down at you when you were a baby.

Maybe it looks just like your mum.

She's smiling down at you.

Sending you love.

Giving you the bestest hugs.

The clouds look just like that.

As you lie there in the boat,

Rocking back and forth,

You feel so happy.

So content.

Close your eyes again.

And the outside world is starting to fade away.

Because the boat is moving underneath you,

Sometimes you find yourself thinking you're flying in the sky.

And then it shifts and you remember you're back on the boat.

Sometimes it feels like you're up in a big giant air balloon swaying in the wind.

Or maybe you're rocking on the back of a train or the back of a big long lorry.

And the movement and the bustle and the rustle and the swaying is gently rocking you deeper and deeper into the bestest sleep.

If you let yourself,

You could feel like you were surrendering completely into the boat.

Into those arms that's holding you tight.

And as you surrender,

You got to the point where you can no longer open your eyes.

They're so heavy.

Your eyelids are so,

So heavy.

Your entire body feels very,

Very heavy and comfortable.

So tired.

So,

So sleepy.

Just let yourself sleep.

Sleep away my little friend.
