Good morning everybody.
My name is Kori.
Let's meditate together.
Close down your eyes please and get comfortable.
Switching gears into meditation time.
So that means slowing down your breath,
Straightening your spine.
Try and relax your body.
Check in with your face.
Make sure it's relaxed.
See if you can let go of any tension around your eyes.
Imagine in your mind that you're sat in a very small room.
Like a small bathroom.
Tiny bathroom.
And you could be sat there on a chair in this tiny little room.
Four walls and a door on one of the walls.
So three walls.
Maybe it's that small that the whole wall is the door.
Just a cubicle of sorts.
See if you can feel yourself just being in that kind of space as you settle in.
A small,
Quite tight space.
It isn't that tight that you feel tremendously uncomfortable but it's small and snug.
And as you slow down your breathing,
See if you can really start to create this space around you.
Shifting into being able to visualize more.
If you look down at your feet as you're sat on the chair,
Look at the ground.
Notice what the ground looks like.
What color are the walls?
Look to your left,
Look to your own feet.
Just a small,
Quite cramped space.
Imagine metaphorically that this is a state of being.
A mindset.
Really in reality you could imagine in your mind's eye that there is no walls around you and the whole world is around you.
Endless space,
Endless possibilities but you still feel like you're in this small box in the middle of all of it.
A limited amount of space for expression,
For movement,
Growth.
Just this small space that you've created,
That you've found yourself in.
Knowing that everything is an illusion and like I said if you wanted to you could make these walls around you completely invisible so that you could see all the vast potential that's really out there.
All the space,
Endless different paths that you could take.
Endless houses and types of space that you could end up in.
So many possibilities.
But when you really settle into your chair and you sit and you stop trying so hard to see,
The walls appear again.
Those three walls and the door around you,
Back in your small space.
If you stand up off the chair and start to walk around in your little space,
You start to get a feeling of needing to change.
Allow that feeling inside of your body to start to bubble up.
Feel it in your feet.
Really focus on your feet and just feel as you imagine in your mind that you're taking the very bare minimum few steps around this small space but you can feel the movement in your feet.
You can feel the itching,
The energy,
The activation starting to happen in your feet but yet there's such little space to be able to expand,
To get out of it,
To go run and play and do whatever you want to do.
But you took the action from sitting to standing.
You made the move and now you're starting to feel the need more for change.
Because as you stand and you try and walk around this little space you can see your limitations more.
When you're just sat doing nothing it's easier to bear these three walls and the door.
It's not like you're requiring very much when you have very little energy and effort and therefore sitting is just fine.
But now that you're standing you feel that itch,
That need to have a bit more space,
To not be so bound and trapped and limited in the small space that you created for yourself in your mind.
So we're going to do something about it.
I'm going to count to three and when I count to three you can imagine that you're opening your little door in your space.
Know that metaphorically this door is the door that limits your viewpoint to the rest of the world.
It's a metaphorical divide stopping you from changing,
From growing,
From expanding.
It's limiting your expansion.
It's keeping you bound and small.
So opening this door when I count to three is a big move.
It represents you opening yourself up to new possibilities.
That's kind of scary but also really exciting at the same time.
Take a big deep breath.
Look at your little space.
It's time to expand.
I'm going to count to three.
On one you'll grab a hold of the door handle.
On two you'll open this wonderful door that's been protecting you,
That's been keeping you safe,
That's been dividing you from all of the unknowns.
But it's also a door that's kept you trapped.
It's kept you small,
Limited.
It's time to say goodbye to it and then when I say three in just a few moments you'll step outside and close the door to your small little box that you were living in.
And find yourself on a whole new path.
Ready to go through the door.
One,
Two,
Three.
First of all just look down at your feet.
Look down at the ground that you find yourself standing on.
Imagine in your mind without even looking back that the door,
The space,
That little tiny room that you had your mind in has just completely dissolved and disappeared behind you.
And now you find yourself looking at the ground,
Looking at your feet,
Noticing what it is that's holding you.
Maybe you're outside,
Maybe you're inside.
Just be aware and then as you look up and look left,
Look over to the left side of where you're at.
What does this path look like that you found yourself on?
What about over to the right?
What do you see over there in your mind?
What do you see in front of you?
What do you see in that space in front that represents the future?
As you look up your body,
You look up your legs,
You look up your body,
You can look down at your hands,
Your arms.
Look in the small space around you and notice that there is no space that's bounding you,
That's trapping you,
That's holding you back.
The space around you is completely open,
Open to whatever it is that you desire.
What do you really,
Really want on this path that's open to whatever you want your world to look like?
What do you see on that path there in front of you that you couldn't see in your small box?
And whatever it is that you're looking at,
Take a deep breath,
Big deep breath.
Relax your body.
Let yourself feel grounded and solid and stable,
Knowing that you're ready for this expansion.
Tell yourself I'm ready for the change.
I'm ready for the growth.
I'm excited to be free.
What does it feel like to be free?
Say the words to yourself in your mind,
I'm free,
I'm free.
Can you feel the energy of the words?
What happens in your body when you say it?
Can you feel it tingling on your skin?
When you say I'm free,
Can you feel the expansion in your chest?
Your shoulders moving back,
Opening your chest,
Your heart,
Your body up and out to the world.
What does it feel like to let go of that small,
Quite stifling at times,
Suffocating at times?
What does it feel like to let go of that small space?
Imagine it there behind you,
Dissolved,
Disappeared,
Like you don't have the option to run backwards and sit back down in that small little room.
It's gone.
Your options are all right there in front of you.
If there's any apprehension,
Any nerves,
Any fear,
Take a moment with me to call upon a friend,
A guide,
An angel.
Maybe it's a loved one.
Maybe it's an animal that's very dear to you.
Call upon a guardian of sorts to be there with you in spirit.
Just ask for them to come and be with you on this new path.
See them coming and standing by your side.
Please come and guide me on this new path.
Give me strength.
Help me to stay grounded.
Help me to stay in a place of grace,
To cope with all the unknowns.
Let your guardian come and be with you and see if that eases the feelings inside of your body.
Ask your guardian if they'll stay with you,
If they'll be with you through the changes,
If they'll help and support.
Metaphorically,
Know that this is all out there.
We can do it.
We're all waiting for you.
All you have to do is be brave enough to get out of your box.
Know that your box is an illusion that you've created for a sense of safety.
But with your guardian and with the excitement in your body,
The feeling of freedom in your heart,
Know that you can do it.
You can let go of your box.
You can feel safe somewhere else.
All you have to do is trust yourself.
Take a nice,
Big,
Deep breath.
Keep all of these feelings with you.
All of the visuals that you've received in this meditation with you.
Keep the knowing that you won't be alone when you step out of your box.
And know that you can do this when you're ready.
Whenever you're ready.
And with that being said,
I'd like you to slowly,
Just very slowly,
Open your eyes.
Come back into your current reality.
