This meditation is for either the spring or fall equinox.
The equinox is a time when day and night are the same length,
In balance.
To begin this meditation,
Find a comfortable position.
This can be sitting or lying down.
Close your eyes.
Allow your neck and shoulders to relax,
Releasing any tension they might store.
However you are positioned,
Sense that you are being supported by the earth.
You are not only supported,
But you are loved and you are worthy.
Focus on your breath as you allow yourself this sacred space to completely relax.
Your spine is straight.
Your hands are relaxed.
During the summer solstice,
We experience the longest day and the shortest night.
The winter solstice brings us the longest night and the shortest day.
The equinoxes,
Both spring and fall,
Are times of balance.
Picture this period of time as an intermission and as you do so,
Concentrate on where you wish to feel more balance in your life.
This is a wonderful time for reflection,
Looking forward,
Setting goals and congratulating yourself for your accomplishments.
Feel balanced.
Feel contentment.
Feel stillness.
Summer and winter will come again,
But right now,
Everything is equal.
Right now,
You are balanced.
Completely balanced.
Allow yourself to sink into this beautiful and healing intermission.
As you begin to open your eyes,
You feel a sense of refreshment,
A cleansing.
Whenever the seasons change,
We too grow with that change.
Keeping your awareness on your breath,
You begin to emerge from this meditation,
Feeling stronger in yourself,
Recharged,
Empowered,
Balanced.
You just as the seasons.
Return to bring new energy to your life as you take mindful steps upon the earth.
Walk in balance,
My dear friend.
The crow flies from me to thee to send the message,
Blessed thee.
Namaste.
