Find a position that is comfortable for you.
Perhaps this will be sitting on the floor,
So you can more easily imagine rooting into the Earth.
Close your eyes.
After taking several deep breaths,
Allow any places where you might be storing tension to soften.
Your breath is slow and steady as you enter into complete relaxation.
With your eyes still closed,
See yourself in nature.
Birds are singing above you as you notice the trees surrounding you.
On the bark of one particular tree,
You are able to discern the face of a man.
This is a friendly and welcoming face.
He greets you with the same affection as he does each changing season.
He is the personification of nature's protection,
Who is known by many names,
Including the green man.
Hold this vision for a few moments.
Feel welcomed.
Feel cared for.
Take another deep breath,
Knowing that you,
Too,
Are an important part of nature.
You are welcome here,
And you most certainly matter,
My dear friend.
The green man walks upon this land.
The green man takes us by the hand.
He stirs the breeze and tends to the trees as the green man walks upon this land.
He gives song to the birds so his message will be heard.
He befriends the animals,
Makes them assured that he is their guide always on their side as he stirs the breeze and tends to the trees.
With so much grace,
We see his face in the trunks of forest trees.
He declares with his kind voice,
All will be reborn,
Dear ones,
Rejoice.
The green man walks upon this land.
His presence is subtle,
But so very grand.
Bullage will fall and saplings grow tall as the green man walks upon this land.
As you begin to invite subtle movements into your body,
Spend just a few more moments experiencing your meditative vision of nature.
Perhaps you will enjoy the birds' songs,
The grass,
The breeze.
Perhaps you will spend a few more moments connecting with the green man as you see him depicted in the tree.
With so much grace,
We see his face in the trunks of forest trees.
He declares with his kind voice,
All will be reborn,
Dear ones,
Rejoice.
Just like nature,
We change and we grow.
The winters of your life will always turn to spring.
When they do,
You will be the tallest,
Most beautiful,
And strongest crocus.
Carry that forward on your journey,
My dear friend.
The crow flies from me to thee to send the message,
Blessed be.
Namaste.
