Rest is necessary.
It brings vitality that is required for action.
With adequate rest comes increased energy.
With adequate rest comes better cognition.
With adequate rest comes improved mood.
With adequate rest comes physical ease.
Allow whatever thoughts arise to come and go like clouds in the sky.
Or driftwood on the surface of a river.
Or a feather floating on air.
The condition of the mind is like the weather,
Ever changing.
Do not be concerned when it rains.
Hold the beauty of the intricate display.
Whatever is occurring,
Relax.
If there is thinking,
Relax.
If there is tension,
Relax.
If there is no thinking,
Relax.
If there is ease,
Relax.
Rest in whatever is present.
Rest in the sensation of the body.
Rest in the sensation of the mind.
Rest in the sensation of sense objects.
Rest in the sensation of the perceiving subject.
Now the subject is object.
In this awareness,
Perceiver and perceived are not two.
Dissolve into oneness.
Be at peace.
