Good morning and welcome to The Artist's Morning.
My name is Darius and I am so grateful that you and I get this time together.
Today's meditation is a bit different.
Today's meditation is specifically made for and dedicated to anyone out there that might be going through a more challenging moment in their lives.
A lot of people are surprised to learn that I have been going through anxiety and depression even for many,
Many years in my life.
It's an ongoing journey.
I used to keep it secret from everyone.
I was embarrassed.
I didn't want to burden other people.
I didn't want them to lose trust in me.
That's what I told myself.
And then when I started to talk about it,
I realized how many other people were experiencing anxiety,
Mental health challenges,
And even depression.
I could see in that moment that isolation was only making things worse.
And then I came to realize that my experience with these energies was nothing to be embarrassed about.
In fact,
It gave me a specialized wisdom to help make meditations and help support people that are going through their own challenges.
So this meditation is built for you.
If you are having a hard time right now,
Maybe it's even challenging to get out of bed,
To do simple tasks.
I see you.
I feel you.
I need nothing from you.
I'm just here with some love,
Some support,
If you're open to it.
Let's begin our meditation.
You can be sitting or laying down in bed if that's easier for you.
We're going to go nice and slow.
When I'm going through a particularly challenging time,
Sometimes it feels like really simple things are so hard to do,
I have very little energy.
And so today's meditation is going to be simple and require very little of you.
And my intention is,
If you are open to it,
To help slowly,
Lovingly give you some more energy,
Some more grounded,
Supportive,
Clear energy.
If you are able,
Let's take slow deep breaths,
Gently calming our nervous system,
The chair,
The ground,
The bed beneath you,
How stable and consistent it is.
I have no idea exactly what you're going through and there's no rush,
No need to skip it,
To bypass it,
To fix it.
You go at your own pace in this moment.
Can you feel the stillness around you?
For this next part of our practice today,
I'm going to take us through a visualization.
I want you to imagine we find ourselves in a patch of grass,
In a beautiful forest.
There's a really comfortable seat with blankets and pillows,
And there's all these lovely trees and flowers around us,
And it's a gorgeous golden sunny day.
The weather is just perfect and everything has a golden glow to it.
Can you hear the birds?
Can you hear the wind between the trees and the leaves?
There's nothing you need to do here.
You can lay down and take a nap.
You can rest.
Mother Earth is here to support you.
Can you feel her support everywhere?
Father Sky is here to support you.
Can you feel his support everywhere?
All this energy in this space,
The earth,
The sky,
The sun,
The wind,
The bird,
They're all here slowly energizing your being.
It's really slow,
Consistent.
They care not about your past.
Makes no difference to them.
What you did or did not do.
They care not about your future.
Makes no difference to them what you will or will not do.
There's nothing they need from you.
They just want to give you.
They just want to love you,
Support you.
What does it feel like to be in a place where nothing is needed from you?
They are energizing your cells.
Can you feel it?
It's really gentle,
Really,
Really gentle.
They are energizing.
They are clearing energy.
They are refreshing energy.
Bravo,

Dear creator.
There's one more song left,

To this point,
And I know on days that are really challenging,
Even five minutes of meditation can be a struggle.
You're doing so great.
Doing so great.
You're doing the best you can.
I see you.
I feel you.
Even if we've never met before,
I know it sounds crazy,
But I can feel you.
However you're going through,
However you're feeling,
You matter.
You matter.
This is our last song.
I want to stay quiet for most of the song and allow the universe,
Allow angels of light and love,
Allow your guides,
Allow any being that is here in support of your highest good to bring love and energy into your heart,
Into your mind.
