You're already doing so good.
In this female meditation,
I'll be guiding you on a journey to meet your inner child and inner elder.
So you can just deepen into your breath,
Sink a little bit deeper into your chair,
And just say hello to your body.
Sometimes I like to like,
When I first sit down for meditation,
I just like to tap my body in certain spots and just like say hello,
I'm here,
I'm with you,
I'm not floating away.
I'm gonna see how much of your energy is with you right now.
Did any of it float off somewhere or did you leave some of it in a project or with another person you were speaking with?
And if so,
That's okay.
You can just kind of call it back.
We're gonna start by grounding ourselves so you can bring your awareness to the base of your spine.
Really intend for a nice strong connection to form.
Why don't we let our grounding cord come up to meet us today?
So you can just kind of send a hello to the planet and ask for that nice strong grounding cord to just grow up from the core of the earth and let it reach out like like a great big hand reaching out and connecting with your root chakra and getting a nice strong connection to that base of the spine.
You can let that grounding cord get nice and wide.
You can activate the release function,
Supersonic release,
Allowing any unconsciousness,
Distractions,
Other people's crap that they threw at you.
Let it really easily sink down that grounding,
Just peeling off that first layer of energy.
So in your mind's eye,
Kind of bring your awareness behind your eyes and in your imagination or using your third eye,
Just kind of envision that you're at the top of a staircase.
The staircase has ten stairs and we're gonna walk down it.
With each step it's bringing you deeper and deeper into your subconscious.
So I'm gonna count from ten to one and with each count you'll take a step down the staircase.
So we're starting at ten,
Nine,
Eight,
Seven,
Six,
Five,
Four,
Three,
Two,
One.
You've reached the bottom of the staircase and you're in front of a door.
Notice what this door looks like.
You put your hand on the handle of the door and you open it.
As you open it,
Walk through it and you find yourself in the middle of a forest.
Walk into that forest and look around.
Is this some place you've been before?
What season is it in this forest?
As you walk through it,
Notice the temperature,
Color of the leaves,
The sounds as you walk.
You walk deeper into this forest and as you do that,
Kind of get a sense that you're leaving some things behind.
The deeper in you walk,
You're less concerned with any work you had to do,
Any conversations you had earlier,
Any plans you were making.
Kind of feel as you walk through these woods,
All of those things just becoming and feeling further away.
You reach the end of a,
The edge of a stream and you can hear the water rushing.
You begin to walk along this stream,
Following it.
Eventually,
Reach a little bit of a clearing in the woods.
You realize there's a house here.
It's not just any house.
What does it look like to you?
As you approach the house,
You notice there's a little girl playing outside.
She's running around.
She's totally in her own little world.
She doesn't notice you yet.
You just watch her.
What do you notice about her?
What is familiar about her?
She looks up and sees you and recognizes you.
She says hello.
How do you greet her?
She invites you to play with her.
You let her show you what game she's playing.
You end up sitting with her in the grass.
Maybe you're lying down on your backs looking up at the sky.
Is there something you want to share with her?
Something you want to tell her that you know now that you didn't know then?
Is there something you want to ask her?
Something only she can tell you?
Maybe something you've forgotten?
She turns to you and she has something to give you.
It's a gift.
And so she brings it out and hands it to you.
What is the nature of this gift?
Where do you want to keep it going forward?
You can thank her for this gift and for the game.
You can give her a nice big hug.
You wave goodbye to her and you begin to walk toward the house.
The door is a little bit ajar,
So you let yourself in.
You hear a noise,
Some rustling in the back of the house,
So you walk towards it.
You see a woman in the kitchen.
Her back is to you.
She's fixing some treats.
She hears you,
So she turns around and gives you a big smile and she greets you warmly.
How does she say hello to you?
If she gives you a hug or a kiss,
What does she feel like?
What does she smell like?
Is she familiar?
She finishes preparing something for you to drink or to eat.
You sit down at the table together.
What does she offer you?
What does it taste like?
As you interact with her,
Notice her demeanor and how she looks and how she speaks.
She has learned a lot and experienced a lot and she knows everything you have been through,
Everything you've ever thought,
Every secret you've kept,
Every pain you've hid,
And even more than this.
And you have a question for her.
How does she answer your question?
You might answer with words,
But she might not.
She might show you something or it might be a feeling.
She has a gift for you also.
She takes it out and gives it to you and this gift has a message.
What does this gift look like,
Feel like in your hands?
You can tell her that you will keep this gift safe and close to your heart and you can thank her and give her a nice big hug.
You leave the house,
Walk out the door,
Walk through the yard.
You look back one more time and you remember where this place is,
What it looks like,
How to get here,
And you know you can always come back here.
You walk back into the woods,
You hear the stream,
You begin to follow it other than the water.
You hear your footsteps on the ground,
The wind in the trees,
The forest gets a little less dense.
You're walking back the way you came and you can sense all the types of things that you associate with your daily life coming back to you,
But you know that you still have the gifts that you were given.
Also,
You can bring those with you.
You see a door up ahead,
The same door you came through.
Notice what it looks like.
You reach for the handle and walk through it and you find yourself at a base of a set of stairs and I'm going to count to ten and with each count you'll walk up one of the stairs and come back to your consciousness,
Your wakefulness.
So we'll start at 1,
2,
3,
4,
5,
6,
7,
8,
9,
10 and with that you find yourself in your body and you can just bring your awareness to the breath and we'll take a minute to orient ourselves and bring a nice big gold sun and you can collect it above your crown.
Just bringing all of your awareness,
All of your own energy and some of your higher self energy and any lessons that you learned from your inner child,
Inner elder into that gold sun.
Pop it and let it flow into your body,
Really filling yourself in and sending an intention to be able to integrate that information and allow it to keep integrating.
You can take one more deep breath and when you're ready you can return to your day.
