Good morning,
Spiritual warrior.
This is David Chi,
And welcome to Day 3 of the Mindful Mornings Challenge on Insight Timer.
What a joy to be here with you,
Starting the day together.
The sun is just coming up here,
The birds have just begun to sing,
And you and I have co-created this sacred precious moment to set our course for the day.
The ancient wisdom traditions teach us how important ritual is,
And when you can combine ritual and meaning,
That equals transformation.
In fact,
The most recent science has revealed that what you experience during the first 30 minutes of your day ends up being the trajectory of your day and how you assess your day 12 hours later.
Start the day with nourishment and life-affirming behaviors like spending time in nature,
Having loving conversations,
And connecting to the stillness and silence that rests within,
And at the end of the day,
There's a really good chance you'll say to yourself,
This was a pretty good day,
So I'd like to share my morning ritual with you,
And together you and I will manifest magnificence.
So let's settle in,
Gently feather your nest,
Remember comfort is queen,
And together let's take a long,
Slow,
Deep breath in.
And ever so gently let that go.
Let's do that one more time,
Long,
Slow,
Deep breath in,
And allow your eyelids to gently float closed,
And gently release it.
And now just watch your breath,
Simply witness it as it flows in and as it flows back out.
Notice that your chest rises up with each inhale,
And notice how your belly eases as you exhale.
Just watching the rise and fall.
Notice that your mind is calming,
Notice that your body is relaxing.
Notice that the swirl inside of you and outside of you is slowing down just a little bit.
There's nowhere else to be,
There's nothing else to do except to be right here,
Right now,
In this sacred,
Precious,
Present moment.
And so let's begin by asking ourselves a few sacred questions.
First let's ask,
What am I grateful for?
And allow the people,
The situations,
The circumstances for which you're truly grateful to ever so gently unfold in your mind's eye.
Just let that gratitude list run.
Next let's ask,
What does my heart truly long for?
And feel free to place your fingertips on your heart to help tease out some of those answers.
What does my heart truly long for?
And now based on the answers that have unfolded from these questions,
Invite an intention into your awareness.
Just one intention,
Something you'd like to see manifest in your life,
Maybe a trait,
A quality,
Or a characteristic you'd like to amplify at a higher level today.
Just allow that intention to crystallize.
And when you're clear,
Now invite that intention into your heart and plant it like a seed in that fertile soil of your heart.
Plant it deep,
Feel it take root,
Feel it embed itself into every fiber of your being,
And now take a long,
Slow,
Deep breath in and release it.
Let go of the outcome,
We'll leave it up to the universe to answer,
We'll leave it up to spirit to sort out all the details.
And now let's take it deeper,
Let's nourish that seed by connecting to the stillness and silence that rests within.
We'll use the ancient mantra,
Om Moksha Ritam.
Om Moksha Ritam.
Om Moksha Ritam.
Om is the universal vibration,
Moksha is liberation,
Emotional freedom,
And Ritam is the rhythm of the universe.
And when we use this mantra to begin our morning,
It aligns our heartbeat with the heartbeat of the universe.
You are stardust,
Breathing stardust,
And this allows all the seeds you've ever planted inside of you to manifest with the support of the universe.
As you repeat the mantra silently over and over,
It may get louder or fainter,
Faster or slower,
It may become jumbled or distorted,
It may vanish entirely,
That's okay.
But as soon as you realize you've drifted away to thoughts or sounds or physical sensations,
Ever so gently drift back to Om Moksha Ritam.
I'll watch the time,
And when you hear me ring the chime,
Just sit gently with your eyes closed.
So let's begin.
Om Moksha Ritam.
Om Moksha Ritam.
Om Moksha Ritam.
Om Moksha Ritam.
Om Moksha Ritam.
Om Moksha Ritam.
Om Moksha Ritam.
Om Moksha Ritam.
Om Moksha Ritam.
Om Moksha Ritam.
Om Moksha Ritam.
Just sit gently with your eyes closed,
And let the stillness and silence settle in.
And now take a long,
Slow,
Deep breath in.
And ever so gently let that go.
Let's do that one more time.
Long,
Slow,
Deep breath in.
And gently release it.
And let's seal the answers to the questions we asked.
Let's seal the intention that we planted.
Let's seal this meditation.
And celebrate the sacred power of oneness by chanting Om,
The hymn of the universe.
Take a long,
Slow,
Deep breath in.
Om And when it feels comfortable,
You can slowly open your eyes.
You can begin to wiggle your fingers,
Wiggle your toes,
Wiggle your belly button.
Namaste.
Here we are,
In this sacred,
Precious,
Present moment.
What are you going to do with it?
Well,
You've set the trajectory for magnificence.
You've planted powerful seeds.
You've awakened your ability to manifest a magnificent day.
I honor you.
From the sweet spot of the universe,
This is davidji.
Keep meditating.
Have an amazing day.
And I'll see you in the gap.
