Hello there.
Hi,
This is David G.
And welcome to another video.
On releasing what you're holding.
With kindness.
I'm so grateful that you're here.
And so let's just hang out for a little bit here and see if we can.
Release what no longer serves gently.
Lovingly So something's been sitting in your heart today or lingering in your body.
Or something you haven't had time to really process or fully feel.
Maybe something you've been trying to stay strong through.
You don't have to carry it alone right now.
You don't need to explain it.
And you don't even need to make sense of it.
But for the next few minutes,
You can simply let yourself be here with me.
And we'll take this one breath.
So let your body settle wherever you are.
I always like to move towards comfort.
Gently feather your nest.
Remember comfort is queen.
Throughout your practice,
Always keep moving towards.
.
.
Comfort.
And if it feels comfortable right here,
Maybe you roll your shoulders a little bit.
Maybe roll your neck a little bit.
Allow your jaw to unclench.
Allow your hands to rest.
Easily.
And through your nose,
Let's take a long,
Slow,
Deep breath in.
And ever so gently let that go.
One more time.
Long,
Unhurried inhale.
And a soft exhale.
And just witness as you breathe.
There's nothing you need to hold together right here.
You're allowed to soften Here,
This space is safe.
And let's meet what's here with some kindness.
Gently bring your awareness to your physical body.
And just notice.
Is there a place?
Within you that feels a little tight.
Or a little heavy.
Were a little guarded.
Maybe it's your chest.
Maybe it's your throat.
Maybe it's your belly.
Maybe it's your shoulders.
Wherever you feel it,
Just let your awareness rest there.
And feel free to allow your eyelids to ever so gently float closed.
Allow your upper lid to rest so softly.
On your lower lid.
And as you notice this place,
Tight or heavy or guarded.
See we can.
Bring a little kindness to it.
Not to change it.
Just to have a different relationship with it,
A kinder relationship.
Perhaps just to be with it a little more differently than you were.
Like you might sit beside someone that you care about.
Without needing them to change or shift or be any different.
What's that like?
To just sit next to whatever that sensation is.
With kindness.
And now take a long,
Slow,
Deep breath into that space.
Inhale gently arriving there.
And exhale,
Softening around it.
Let's do that again.
Breathing in with presence.
And breathing out with kindness.
And as you continue breathing,
Begin to let your exhale lengthen just a little.
No force.
Just a slightly longer.
Release.
We breathe in.
And we just really surrender that breath out.
Inhale again through our nose.
And a slow,
Easy exhale.
And let's do that one more time.
Deep inhale.
And exhale like a quiet letting go.
As you breathe here,
Breathe normally.
As you breathe,
Allow each exhale.
You might imagine that what you've been holding It doesn't have to stay quite as tight.
You can give yourself permission just to loosen your grip just a little bit.
On whatever that is.
Maybe it's an attachment.
Maybe it's.
.
.
A loyalty to some kind of pain.
Maybe it's a sadness.
Whatever it is.
Maybe right now.
We don't have to be as tight with it as we were.
Sometimes we've been carrying something for such a long time,
Holding it together,
Pushing through.
Doing what we needed to do.
And right now,
You're giving your body a moment.
To set some of that down.
Not all at once.
Just a little.
Breath by breath.
You don't have to carry it all.
And you don't have to carry it alone.
And maybe it's just too much right now.
So let's.
.
.
Give ourselves permission just to Release.
Our need or our limiting belief.
That we have to maintain such control over it.
Now you'll notice I've been holding my hand on my heart for most of our time together.
I think it's a really great thing to make that heart connection.
So gently bring one hand or both.
To your heart and just feel the contact.
Just feel the warmth.
Just feel that connection.
Maybe the weight.
Of your hand or your hands.
On your heart,
That steadiness.
That quiet presence.
Of your own loving hand.
And just breathe here with me.
Inhale into that space beneath your hand.
And exhale soft and easy.
We're just breathing into that space beneath our hand.
And exhaling soft and easy.
And as you breathe,
You might remind yourself,
I'm here.
I'm allowed to feel this.
I can be kind to myself even here.
And let those words land softly.
No need to repeat them.
Perfectly.
I can be kind to myself,
Even here.
Just allowing the feeling of settle in.
I can be kind to myself.
Even here.
And now let this awareness expand.
From that place you were feeling.
To your whole body.
As if your body is becoming this larger space.
That can hold what's there.
And whatever that thing is now,
It's just so small within.
Your much larger presence.
Breathing into your heart.
Breathing into your body.
Allowing everything to have just a little bit more room.
Feeling that spaciousness.
And what you're feeling doesn't have to disappear.
For you to feel a little bit more at ease.
Sometimes it just needs a little more space.
And kindness.
And so let's.
.
.
Notice that right now.
We have a little more space right here.
With a little more kindness.
And take a long,
Slow,
Deep breath in right now.
And a gentle exhale out.
And just notice right now.
What feels even slightly different.
Maybe something's a little bit softer.
Maybe something a little bit more open.
Maybe simply a little less alone.
And as you move back into your day.
See if you can carry this with you.
This way of meeting yourself.
This way of being a little kinder to yourself.
A little more patient.
A little more care.
Let's take a long,
Slow,
Deep breath into our heart.
Radiate that kindness back out into the world.
Give your heart a gentle massage right here.
And when it feels comfortable to you,
You can ever so gently open your eyes.
And I'm so glad that we had this time together.
Hopefully you feel just a little more expansive,
A little more spacious.
And you've let go of something that didn't serve you.
From the sweet spot of the universe,
This is David G.
Wishing you a beautiful day of healing.
Of expansion,
And of kindness.
Namaste.
