Hi,

It's Deanna.

Thank you for joining me for Tides of Renewal.

Before we begin,

I want you to find a quiet,

Comfortable place where your body can soften,

Where your breath can unfold and where your spirit can come home to itself.

Just take a moment and take a breath in in through the nose and exhaling through the mouth.

Let your eyes gently close and with each breath in,

Allow that breath to deepen each one a little bit more.

Inhaling through the nose and exhaling out of the mouth.

A little longer on the inhale this time and exhale.

As you breathe,

Your body will begin to settle feeling the weight of the day melting off of your shoulders.

Feeling the ground or whatever you're on supporting you as you allow yourself to slowly sink into stillness.

This is your space.

This is your sanctuary.

Your moment to return back to yourself.

Breathing in through the nose holding it for a moment and exhaling through the mouth.

Breathing in again in through the nose and release as you let go exhaling through the mouth.

Your body is becoming relaxed gently allowing the day to fall away.

One more breath in.

I want you to bring awareness to your feet now.

Imagine roots extending down curling into the earth beneath you.

Really visualize that while you're breathing in and again deeper with each breath.

And as you're exhaling move now up to your legs feeling the relaxation up into your hips deep breaths in through the nose and out through the mouth.

Now your belly,

Letting each space loosen as you breathe into it.

Take a deep breath in and feel your body and your belly rise filling your belly with air and feeling it relax as you exhale letting your body loosen.

Place one hand over your heart and one hand over your belly and as you breathe feel your body rising and falling beneath your palms.

Breathe in.

You are grounding and exhale.

Breathe in.

You are arriving and exhale and breathe in.

You are safe and exhale.

Allow your body to just be for a moment breathing normally scanning your body without judgment letting go of any criticism anything that doesn't quite feel neutral in the moment.

Allow your body to just be.

In this meditation you will meet the tides of your own healing the rise and fall of emotion the ebb and flow of grief the movement of your inner world when you finally allow yourself to release I want you to set this intention for your mind I surrender to the tides within me I let the water carry away what no longer belongs Breathe,

Feel your body relax feel your body release allowing yourself sacred passage into this meditation into the sacred space where you can just be with no judgment,

With no fear with simply being Feel the breath in your body breathing in deeper feeling your belly rise your lungs expand in slow control to exhale through the mouth resetting your nervous system reminding your body it is ok to just be Now,

I want you to visualize as best as you can and if your mind drifts off that is ok come back to your breath,

Come back to your center and continue to follow my voice imagine now that you are standing at the edge of a long wooden path the air around you is warm gentle and alive,

With the scent of salt water and the quiet hum of nature each step you take down this path is slow steady,

Intentional the deeper you walk the softer the world becomes as though life is exhaling around you you hear the waves in the distance a steady rhythm calling your spirit closer focus on your breath for a moment breathing in through the nose and exhaling through the mouth you continue walking until the path opens into a breathtaking shoreline the sky is painted with hues of soft gold and warm pink the ocean stretches endlessly before you vast vast,

Powerful and deeply calming this place exists deep within you it has always existed within you you've maybe lost your way for a moment you might just need a reset again,

Showing yourself grace taking a deep breath in through the nose exhaling through the mouth feeling your body becoming more relaxed more at peace softly relaxing for you another nice deep breath in and exhale I want you now to walk toward the water's edge notice the tide rolling in and rolling out a perfect,

Natural rhythm a rhythm your nervous system longs to remember as the tide comes in feel the energy rise within your body as the tide flows out feel your body soften release,

Let go breathing with the tide moving with the tide resting with the tide let the rhythm now of the water become the rhythm of your breath visualize the water movement and breathe with it now,

Step forward into the water feel it touch your feet cool,

Soothing alive every wave carries healing every ripple carries wisdom every movement invites you to exhale a little bit more with each wave that brushes against you silently say take this from me let the water pull your fear your anxiety,

Your heartbreak your confusion,

Your self-doubt your overthinking,

Your exhaustion,

Your grief allow the tide to loosen the emotional knots inside of your body feel the water pulling the heaviness away not abruptly,

But gently lovingly as though the ocean knows exactly what you've carried and exactly how to ease it breathe with me on the count of 4 inhale,

1 just breathe normally for a moment again,

Inhaling on the count of 4 3,

1 breathe normal and one more inhaling again on the count of 4 3,

1 and exhaling on the count of 6 5,

1 breathe normally now and just scan your body to see where you're relaxing and where you might still be holding a little bit of tension now,

Imagine stepping in deeper into the water it rises up to your legs up to your hips your waist and as it does,

Feel the energy of your old life lifting off of you the expectations the pressure to be strong the fear of being alone the need to hold everything together let the water hold you now breathing in through the nose as deep as you can and on the exhale,

Just feeling your body release let the water carry what you don't have to carry anymore let it go now,

When you're ready I want you to take a nice deep breath and sink your body fully beneath the surface under the water,

Everything becomes quiet for you soft,

Still,

And sacred with no fear allow your face to just come up enough that you can breathe but feeling the soft water envelop your body you're floating,

Gently this is where transformation happens in the silence beneath the noise in the stillness beneath the fear in the surrender beneath the control stay here and breathe in this underwater world allowing your body feel the ebb and the flow of the tide the gentle waves relaxing your body and allowing the stress to release and allowing the tide to cleanse you to purify you to even rebirth you you are safe you are supported you are held now,

I just want you to feel the waves gently rocking your body as you're floating breathing deeply in through the nose and exhaling through the mouth take a moment and just feel where your body is moving gently allow what comes up to the surface to rise again,

With no judgement you are simply a witness to your healing in the moment a witness to the release of what no longer serves you a witness to what you're ready to let go to make room for what is now,

When you're ready I want you to imagine that you're rising slowly back above the surface your feet touching the ocean floor underneath of you feeling the air meeting your skin again but notice you are lighter you are clearer more whole look back at the shoreline for a moment your old emotional burdens have been washed away the tide has claimed them transmuted them returned you back to yourself you are the one who rises from the water the one who heals through surrender the one who gently walks back into your life stand there now and feel the air on your skin and the warmth of the sun gently warming gently giving you that energy from the heat feeling the water still caressing your skin as you stand there feeling sensing and knowing feeling that lightness of surrender the release and the grace that you're offering yourself in this moment knowing that you don't have to carry the weight of everyone and everything around you for this gentle moment you are exploring what you need within and around you let's take a deep breath together in through the nose and exhaling through the mouth on your next inhale you're going to begin walking back slowly towards the beach you feel the sun warming your skin and the breeze whispering through your hair your heart feels open soft,

Steady you have reclaimed your rhythm you have reclaimed your breath you have reclaimed your peace and as you gently walk back onto the shoreline I want you to gently sit in the sand facing the ocean and placing both hands on your heart smelling the soft salt air feeling the breeze on your skin the warmth of the sun whispering to yourself I am the tide I rise I fall I return to myself every time I give myself grace I am the tide I rise I fall I return to myself every time I give myself grace let these words sink a little deeper and land just where they need to I am the tide I rise I fall I return to myself every time let's take a deep breath in through the nose together holding it for a moment and exhale I want you now to bring awareness back into your body wiggling your fingers rolling your shoulders gently feeling the ground beneath you again taking one deep cleansing inhale and one long relaxing exhale and when you're ready open your eyes you are back awake,

Changed,

Softened,

Strengthened you have returned home to yourself
