Hello and welcome to this 8-minute Anahata Heart Chakra Meditation with me,
Thi.
Before we begin,
I ask that you take your time finding a comfortable position,
Whether that's seated or lying down.
If you choose to sit,
Ensure you create a solid foundation for yourself.
This could look like moving the fleshy parts of the buttocks to the side,
Or maybe sitting on a pillow and blanket to raise the hips.
As you're ready,
Lengthen the spine by slightly raising the crown of your head to sky,
And roll the shoulders up the ears and down the back.
Once you're settled,
We will begin with a few deep belly breaths,
Breathing in through the nose and out through either the nose or mouth.
Choose what feels right for you in this moment.
And together,
In and out,
In,
Last one,
In and out.
If you haven't already,
You can either close the eyes or gaze at a point in front of you with the eyelids soft.
I now invite you to bring your attention to the sensations in your body,
Starting with feeling the points of contact with the surface beneath you.
Notice the support it provides.
Now bring your awareness to your heart center,
Located in the middle of your chest.
Visualize a radiant light glowing brightly at its center.
The light of your Anahata heart chakra.
Notice the color of this light and how it feels.
Maybe you sense warmth and gentleness in this light.
Be curious.
Allow this light to expand with each breath you take,
Noticing any changes in sensations within the body.
As you continue to breathe,
Allow this light to grow stronger and more vibrant,
Filling your entire chest cavity with its healing energy.
See the healing light of your heart chakra,
Gently melting away any barriers or obstacles,
Allowing the energy to flow freely and unobstructed.
Take a few moments here to bask in the warmth and radiance of your heart chakra.
I'll let you know when it's time to come back.
If the mind wanders,
Gently bring it back to your heart center.
As you're ready,
You can shift your attention from the Anahata chakra to the rest of your body.
Maybe you begin to notice the points of contact you have with the surface beneath you.
Gently begin to move the body in a way that feels good.
It may look like wiggling the fingers and toes or raising the arms above the head for a nice stretch.
Do what feels right for you in this moment.
When you're ready,
You can flutter the eyes open and begin to notice your surroundings,
Taking note of the colors and textures you see,
The sounds or smells that are arising.
I thank you for joining me in this guided Anahata heart chakra meditation.
Blessed Be.
