Today we're going to explore where emotions are stored in your body.
When emotions aren't fully processed,
They don't just disappear,
They often settle into the body as tension,
Discomfort,
Or even pain.
The body holds onto these emotions in an attempt to protect us,
But over time this can lead to stress and imbalance.
By observing and releasing these stored emotions,
We allow the body to return to its natural state of ease and flow.
This process isn't about forcing anything,
It's about creating a safe,
Gentle space for the energy to dissolve naturally.
So let's explore this in today's guided meditation.
So find a really comfortable and quiet place to sit or lie down.
And if you're sitting down,
Just place your hands on your lap with your palms facing upward.
And if you're lying down,
Just have your arms beside you with your palms facing upward.
And again,
By now you would know that we place them in the upright position to open ourselves to receiving whatever messages we need to today.
But also just for today,
Think about with your palms open,
You are open and you are also giving to the universe.
As you receive,
You're also allowing yourself to give,
To give the wisdom of you,
The beauty of you,
Your experiences.
You are in this beautiful co-creation with your higher self and the universe giving and receiving.
So take a deep breath in and just feel yourself just sinking deeper into whatever you are sitting or lying upon.
Take another deep breath in.
And as you breathe out,
Just feel your shoulders dropping down and your jaw relaxing.
Feel how good it feels to just relax into this beautiful space that you are creating.
And with the next breath that you take in,
Imagine that you are drawing your awareness within.
And as you breathe out,
You are relaxing even more.
Deeper and deeper.
And that beautiful golden light is now flowing into the room.
It has always been here because this is the light of your higher self.
And it is always around you,
Always loving you,
Supporting you.
But in this space,
As you gently begin to let go,
You're vibrating at a higher rate.
And as your resonance expands,
You are now in tune and tuning in to the beautiful golden light around you.
And the wisdom is always here,
Always around you.
You are never alone.
It is us that tune out,
That focus on something that is of a lower vibration,
And you just drop out of tune with it.
But now that you know that,
It will be easier to tune into it whenever you want to.
Imagine that golden light around you,
Like the rays of the sun.
It's like a liquid light flowing over you and around you.
And imagine that you breathe it in,
Breathe it out,
And just feel that golden light move through every part of you,
Relaxing,
Healing,
Soothing.
And in this beautiful space,
Just take your focus now to the top of your head and just gently scan over your body from head to toe.
Notice any areas of tension,
Heaviness,
Or discomfort.
And just gently bring your awareness to one of these areas.
Focus on this part of your body,
And ask,
What emotion is stored here?
Trust whatever arises,
And it could be a word,
An image,
Or a feeling.
So let's just ask again,
What emotion is stored here?
And now visualize this area being enveloped by the golden light.
With each breath,
See the light softening the tension and dissolving the emotion.
And imagine the energy being carried away,
Leaving only peace and ease in its place,
Like a golden star shining.
And imagine that that golden star now grows larger and larger,
And it touches every part of your body,
Every cell within your body,
To bring a beautiful sense of peace and ease.
And just gently say to yourself,
Eyewitness and release.
My body is safe and free.
As the tension dissolves,
Feel your body becoming more lighter and more open.
Breathe deeply into this sense of relief.
Take a deep breath in.
Breathing in the breath of life,
That golden light.
Feel the love and support that is here for you in every moment.
And remember that that golden light is always around you,
And you can tune into it whenever you want to.
Breathe in and breathe out.
Be fully present right here,
Right now,
In the magnificence of you.
And when you're ready,
Just gently open your eyes,
And know that you can take this sense of ease and freedom wherever you go.
