Hi,
Welcome in.
This is for you for when you feel like maybe you're not enough or you feel the self-doubt rise when you step into something new.
Maybe you signed up for my meditation teacher training or you got a new job or signed up to be a part of a different group or something.
I think we've all felt that feeling.
You're excited,
You sign up or you join the thing and then the self-doubt creeps in.
The unknown and the uncertainty feels overwhelming and there's this voice that says maybe this isn't for you.
Maybe you don't belong here and so this meditation is for you to remember that you do belong.
There's a reason you are here.
There's a reason you chose to say yes and step in.
Start to go on the inward journey.
Closing your eyes if that feels safe.
Softening into your body.
Relaxing your jaw.
Feel your shoulders release.
Let go of any grip you have with your hands.
Allow your legs to feel heavy.
Breathe in.
Let it go.
Just feel yourself being held.
Notice all the points of contact between you and whatever is holding you.
Become aware of the voice that is lying to you.
The voice that is fueled by a not-enoughness mentality.
The voice that is fueled by an old story.
Breathe in.
Let it go.
Choosing to simply observe this voice and gently question why it is here.
What we choose to understand can be reasoned with.
My friend,
Don't lose sight of why you chose to say yes.
Dropping into your heart.
Remember your why.
Self-doubt is proof of bravery.
Self-doubt is proof of courage.
Self-doubt is proof of wisdom.
Self-doubt is proof of courage.
Self-doubt is proof of bravery.
It's proof that you are growing and you are trying.
Self-doubt is proof of your evolution.
Your expansion.
Self-doubt is proof that you are choosing to be alive versus just live.
If only you could see yourself how others see you.
There is magic within you.
There are gifts within you.
You belong here.
Breath in.

The fear you feel when you put yourself in a place that will help you grow is really just your courage in disguise.
Can you feel into your courage in disguise?
Can you whisper thank you to yourself now?
Recognizing your bravery.
And feel the growing pains of growing your self-trust.
Slow breath in.
Slow exhale.
I know it might feel scary.
And what is scarier is never knowing,
Never trying.
Within your heart,
There is no doubt.
What is it that you can encourage yourself with?
What words do you need to hear?
Breathe in slow.
Breathe out slowly.
Breathe in.
Breathe out slowly.

Breathe out slowly.
Exhale.
Do not let the fear,
The doubt,
The overwhelm make you quit.
Maybe we can see it as a sign that you are going in the right direction.
I will not stop.
I will keep going.
This is good.
I belong here.
I can do really,
Really hard things.
My self-doubt will not stop me.
My fear will not freeze me.
I am brave.
I got this.
Inhale deeply.
Exhale.
Notice the shift,
A different energy within you maybe.
Come back to this meditation whenever your mind whispers fear into your heart.
Or it all feels like too much.
Come back again and again.
