While laying in bed hitting snooze one morning, I gave myself Reiki. My mind wandered off thinking about food, and what I would eat this week. Organically there was a visualization of the chakras and each food that my body needed the most to nourish them. Allow me to guide you into your intuitive self, and discover your body's wishes.

Hello,

This is Fletcher and welcome to Intuitive Eating Chakra Balancing.

Let me tell you a little bit about how this creative thing came into play.

So I was laying in bed one morning,

You know,

Pretty much hitting the snooze button,

And thought,

I'm just going to give myself a little reiki,

You know,

Help get things straight.

And of course,

You know,

My mind drifted off and I'm thinking,

What am I going to eat this week?

And then somehow it just came to me that,

To ask myself,

What do I really want to eat this week?

And so I just saw the chakra colors in my head,

You know,

Like you hear when you're a kid,

Eat the rainbow,

But eat the chakras.

And so I went through all the colors and saw exactly what I needed to eat.

So for red,

I had raspberries,

Orange was pumpkin,

Yellow was spaghetti squash,

Green was bok choy,

Kind of a surprise,

Blue was blueberries,

And third eye and crown chakra were lavender.

So now I just need to figure out how I'm going to eat that this week.

But hey,

That's the fun part.

And then when I even asked myself,

Is there anything else that I need to eat that wasn't mentioned?

I heard radishes.

So kind of excited.

Let's see what your body wants.

Let's take a breath in and out together.

So I have set my Reiki symbols around the room,

Lit a candle and some incense.

And we'll set out the intention to allow your bodies not only to be safe and held in love and light,

But to sink into a deep inner listening,

Your deep inner knowing.

And your attention moves from your brain down into your heart.

Let's take a breath breathing into the heart.

And then allow that energy to move down into our belly,

The gut brain.

And take another breath into the belly.

And for a few rounds of breath,

As you exhale,

Let tension be removed from your body.

So that if you were in a state of fight or flight,

You can move into one of rest and digest.

So for a moment,

Receive some Reiki and allow your energy to settle.

One more,

Buzz!

Every exhale,

Putting you into a more relaxed state of being.

Now as we begin to ask ourselves questions in a curious manner,

Just know that there is no wrong answer,

And you might not even see a reason why these things would correlate,

But just trust yourself.

Trust the process.

Let's take another breath in and out.

Move your attention down into the root chakra,

The color red,

And ask your body,

What food would be the most nourishing for my root chakra?

Allowing your attention to rise into the sacral chakra,

The color orange.

Asking your intuitive self,

What does my sacral chakra most need to be nourished?

Attention moving up into the solar plexus,

The color yellow.

Asking your authentic self,

What does my third chakra need to be nourished the most?

Attention moves up into the heart center,

The color green.

And as you breathe into your heart,

You ask it,

What does it need to be nourished the most?

Your attention moves into the throat chakra,

The color blue.

Asking the fifth chakra,

What does it need to be nourished the most?

Energy moving up to the third eye,

Indigo.

Asking if there is a food that would nourish it the most.

The seventh chakra at the crown,

Violet.

Also the place where your reiki is entering and sifting down the body.

The place that's connecting you.

So asking the crown chakra,

Is there a food that would nourish the most?

And taking a moment to review each of the foods that your body has selected.

Ask it,

Is there anything else that it needs to feel deeply nourished?

And since we want to balance,

Is there any chakra that's in excess?

And if so,

What things should we reduce?

Allow your attention to move into the breath.

As I thank you for sharing this fun experience with me.

And maybe in a few more breaths,

Big inhales,

When you're fully awake,

You might jot those foods down or tuck them away in a mental file to help you make your decisions in the upcoming days.

And be sure to let me know what it was that you were craving.

I can't wait to find out.
