In this talk, we explore three simple practices that can quietly change your life: daily meditation, a commitment to non-harm, and honoring your own good mood. When we take care of our inner state through rest, awareness, and kindness, we naturally create a more peaceful field around us. We may not be able to change the whole world, but we can create a beautiful, gentle world in the space immediately around us.

No matter where you are in life,

If you want everything to improve,

Practice these things.

Number one,

Meditate every single day.

Number two,

Focus on non-harm.

Rather than focusing on doing good,

Actually focus on non-harm because it's harder.

Don't ruin people's moods.

Don't like give someone a solution that actually might not work for them but you feel good giving it.

Gentleness,

Non-harm,

It actually saves you a lot of energy.

And number three is value your own good mood,

Lift up other people's mood.

So between meditation,

Non-harm,

Non-harm which is really coming from ego-less,

Valuing like you being in a good mood which means what you eat,

How much you sleep,

How much you meditate,

How you dress every morning,

How you show up,

Your good mood really really matters.

And focus on wanting others around you to be in a good mood.

That's like playfulness,

Lightness.

So many more opportunities will come to you and just the vibe around you will be great.

There's this wonderful saying that we can't change the whole world but you have total control of like six feet in front of you,

Six feet behind you,

Six feet to each side,

This box you live in,

You create that world.

So create a beautiful world all around you in which there's non-harm and a good mood and to be able to do that,

Do your meditation practice.
