When we struggle with physical,
Mental,
And emotional pain,
It is extremely important to realize that the mindset plays one of the largest roles in how you can self-heal.
Begin by closing your eyes and finding stillness within your body.
Start by taking three full,
Deep breaths in through the nose and exhale out through an open mouth.
Breathing normally again,
Finding your breath as it enters and exits the nose and allowing it to flow naturally with ease,
Serving you exactly as it does each and every day.
In times of pain and suffering,
The mind will easily lure us into the negative worst-case scenario.
We build stories around our circumstances to validate ourselves in thinking the way we do.
Begin to focus in on the area of your body where you store the suffering.
Maybe it's an illness,
Maybe it's a physical injury,
Or it's emotional and the weight lands on your shoulders,
Your chest,
Or in your hips.
Start to consider if this is a new issue or challenge,
Or has it been ongoing and appearing at different times in your life.
Now I want you to begin to visualize energy flowing into that area of your body,
Energy that is being supplied by your very own heart,
Making its way to any area of your body you choose.
Allow it to pour its way into every crevice of your being.
Picture this luminous energy flowing through your bloodstream as it purifies and cleans yourselves.
Can you visualize these cells on a microscopic level being repaired,
Rejuvenated,
Being healed?
Allow this energy to course through your entire body now,
Moving in all directions,
Cell by cell,
Organ by organ,
Bone by bone,
Muscle by muscle.
You are healing yourself from within,
Regenerating,
Restoring,
Recreating,
Treating yourself with the utmost compassion,
Holding what needs healing kindly,
Knowing that it is all on its way out.
Allow this energy to consume every atom of dis-ease,
Pain,
Or suffering in your body.
Allow it to fill your whole being and beyond.
Know that the goal is to not go back to who you once were,
But to now move forward to who you are becoming,
The stronger,
Wiser,
Healthier version.
We often must travel through times of suffering,
Discomfort,
And dis-ease to find the understanding on the other side,
To develop into who you were meant to be.
Can you picture yourself one year from now completely healed,
Happy,
And healthy,
Glowing from within?
You are contagiously radiant.
What do you look like?
What are you wearing?
Where are you?
What expression do you have on your face?
What does your body look like?
You are healthy,
Happy,
And vibrant.
You walk closer to this version of you,
Your future self,
And you thank them.
Thank you for taking the time to visualize,
To surrender,
And mentally prepare for this moment.
Thank them for allowing you to heal.
Thank them for not being able to do it without them.
Now,
As you take a step back,
Feel your own heart beating.
Feel your heart continuing to course that healing energy through your body now,
And then return to your breath,
Anchoring in this moment,
Trusting that you are not as far away as you think you might be.
That version of you is already within.
Take a deep breath in and a deep breath out.
When you're ready,
Returning to the room,
Returning to the space that surrounds you,
And taking as much time as you need.
The human body possesses an enormous,
Astonishing,
And persistent capacity to heal itself.
Disease generally occurs when we abuse our bodies or deprive them of basic requirements to keep us healthy over extended periods.
This visualization meditation is to be used as a tool to arrive back at constantly,
Consistently.
Return to it to heal your body and mind with the power of visualization.
I encourage you to take notes of anything that came up for you in today's practice.
Try practicing this once a day or once a week,
And compare your notes down the road from the date you first started.
You are healing,
Right here,
Right now.
Through this process,
Through this time of stillness,
You are.
