Close down the eyes and rest back for just a moment.
Breathe intentionally into your heart space,
Allowing yourself to arrive at this moment just as you are.
Feel your natural breath filling you with restorative air,
A reminder that you can just be,
Without strain,
Without rush.
Feel into the weight you've been carrying,
The burden of worry.
Feel them begin to soften as you exhale.
Take a deep,
Intentional exhale that lessens the weight of the worry.
There is no need to fix anything in this moment,
No need to hold it all together,
Simply be,
Simply be here.
Allow your breath to soothe the places within you that feel tight,
Tangled or tired.
Feel the rise and fall of your breath,
A gentle rhythm,
Like the tide that is in no hurry and holds no fear.
Inhale deeply and exhale completely,
Allowing tension to slip away as you rest here deeply.
Now bring to mind a worry that has been pulling at your heart,
The persistent thought that has been swirling around your mind with a tension that grips.
Notice it,
Allow it to be seen as if you are holding it in the palm of your hand.
Without judgement,
Without resistance,
Simply observe.
Say softly to yourself,
Here you are worry,
I see you,
I feel the fear behind you,
The fear of not being enough,
The fear of losing control and the fear of harm,
And it's okay that you are here.
It's okay to welcome the worry to be with you here for a moment,
For this moment.
For when we push it away,
Worry becomes louder,
Longing for a soothing embrace,
The chance to be seen and the chance to be transformed.
Place a gentle hand on your heart and notice where in your body you feel the fear and the worry.
Notice it without thoughts,
Be completely in your body.
Breathe into that fear,
Imagine a growing spaciousness around the fear with each breath.
Notice how the spaciousness inside you grows,
But the fear and the worry remain the same size,
They seem smaller now in this vast space,
This space you have created for yourself.
Now allow this space to soften the texture of the worry.
Worry is born from care,
But care that has been tangled with fear,
In the need to grasp with the illusion of control.
Worry may feel like a way to hold situations in your hands,
As if by carrying it you have control over what lies ahead.
But notice how worry only tightens the grip of fear,
Never allowing a deep peace to enter.
True control lies in care,
Gentle,
Steady,
Compassionate care.
It is not the grasping,
But the releasing that allows you to heal.
So what if we let worry transform?
What if we shifted from fear driven protection to love driven action?
Take an intentional breath in,
And on your exhale,
Feel yourself releasing the grip of worry.
Let it loosen like a clenched fist that begins to open.
Inhale again,
This time inviting in care.
Feel the warmth of care filling you,
The care that nurtures without grasping,
The care that acts without fear.
Care is steady,
Care is wise,
Care moves with love,
Not panic.
Now gently ask yourself,
Allowing your intuition to reveal the answer to you.
What is one small caring step I can take for myself?
Or what can I do today that shows I care,
Without needing to fix,
Control a situation or worry?
What can I do to show I care?
Let the answer reveal itself softly.
It may be a simple action,
A kind thought,
Or even a conscious choice to let go of worry.
Trust what arises,
Even the smallest step can create a powerful shift.
Now say to yourself in your mind's eye,
I choose care over worry.
I honour my heart's desire to protect,
But I release the need to fear.
I trust that care,
Not worry,
Brings healing.
Breathe in that trust,
Feel it anchor you,
Steady you,
Fill you.
You are capable of loving action without the heaviness of rumination.
Let your breath remind you of this balance.
On the inhale,
Bring in calm presence and care.
On the exhale,
Release fear and tension.
Each time worry pulls at your heart,
Gently place your hand there and whisper,
Thank you,
But I choose care instead.
Remember the small act of love you have given,
Like a seed already planted,
And let worry rest,
Knowing that care has already begun to bloom into something beautiful.
Take another intentional deep breath,
Filling your body with peace,
With trust,
With gentle compassion.
And whenever you're ready,
Open your eyes slowly,
Allowing the light back in.
You are here in this moment,
You have the power to choose care,
One small step,
One quiet act of love,
And that is enough.
You are enough.
