This is Julie with Soul Science.

Welcome to your guided meditation.

And you can begin today by closing your eyes and feel into the power of being in your own presence.

And let go of all external distractions and come back home within yourself to find a sense of inner awareness.

And feel a calming energy building inside of you and take a moment to relax and be with yourself.

And tuning into the body now,

We're going to gradually explore our muscles,

Our bones,

And our tendons.

Starting at the feet and slowly making your way up,

Checking in with the shins and now the hamstrings.

And into the knees and begin to explore the upper thighs and into the hips.

Move your attention into the stomach,

The abdomen,

And the chest.

And begin to explore the muscles,

Bones,

And tendons of the hands.

Moving into the wrists and gradually up the arms.

And start to explore the shoulders and up into the neck.

Now feel into the entire head and let's scan from feet to head once more on your own.

Paying attention to any areas that are holding tension.

And if you're finding some areas or parts of the body that are holding tension,

Just take a few moments here to see if you can soften those spots even by 10%.

And as your body relaxes,

Just allow yourself to settle into your own being here before we continue with our practice.

Moving our attention to the breath now,

Place one hand on your stomach and the other on your chest.

And take a few deep calm breaths in and release them out.

And with each inhale,

Feel that your stomach is expanding as opposed to your chest rising.

And as you exhale,

Feel any tension leaving your body and relax further into this moment.

And as you focus on the breath,

Connect and observe the pure oxygen traveling into your stomach with each inhale.

And let it fill every corner and crevice,

Cleansing and renewing your body with each breath.

And feel yourself letting go as you exhale and allow the contraction of your stomach muscles to ground you further into the earth.

Let the sensation of being held by the chair or the floor beneath you bring a sense of inner peace,

Reminding you of your connection to yourself and to this present moment.

And as this inner sensation of peace washes over you,

Touch into the feeling of being secure in your own body.

And you can allow your hands to come back to a comfortable position beside you.

And for your breath to settle into a comfortable rhythm.

And connect back with the lower body and feel yourself slowly sinking into the earth's surface.

And visualize tiny flecks of reddish brown sand that are deep below the earth's surface begin to gently blanket your feet,

Your shins,

Your knees,

Your thighs,

And your hips.

And visualize this sand embracing each area in turn from toes to hips.

And see if you can connect with the wild force of Mother Nature and her silent energy that operates beneath all of us.

And allow yourself to be embraced by her powerful yet peaceful energy,

Grounding you further and further into this moment.

And allow this powerful energy to permeate through every inch of your being.

Watch as the little particles of flecked sand merge together and radiate outwards to form a protective geometric oval around your whole body.

And begin to watch as you are submerged even deeper into the earth's core.

And feel the sensation of safety and protection as you retreat into this protective oval wrapped in an unbreakable barrier.

Notice how the walls of the oval are smudged with an inky black and brown,

Giving you the feeling of being shielded.

And as your body settles into this security,

Take a moment to appreciate a sense of serenity that comes with knowing you are fully protected.

And become curious.

Place your hands against this wall,

Feeling its sleek and sturdy composition.

And with your hands against its walls,

Feel into the core of the earth that surrounds you.

And begin to feel a pulsing,

Thudding sensation in your hands,

Like you're touching into the heartbeat of the earth.

Allow her powerful and protective energy to surge through you,

Taking over your whole being.

Allow yourself to meld with this expansive pulse,

Acknowledging and appreciating the depth of her life-giving power that you are now deeply connected with.

Remove your hands from the walls,

Yet bring the sensation of the pulse with you.

And imagine the oval structure beginning to tremor slightly.

And feel into the movement of the oval being propelled gently upwards.

And as the oval rises to the surface of the earth,

Continue to hold an awareness of this protective place that you've created.

Allow it to bring a sense of security within.

And observe the power of the oval structure as it stays strong and centered,

Despite the change in environment.

And examine the shimmering golden brown walls as the sun shines down onto the oval.

And watch as the oxidized sand transforms into iron stripes and golden bands,

Creating an eye-catching interplay between light and dark.

And notice how these stripes resemble the eye of a tiger.

And come to realize that you are encased within the powerful stone of Tiger's Eye.

Allow yourself to feel a sense of protection,

Knowing that no matter what comes your way,

This powerful force of Tiger's Eye will remain unbreakable.

And stare through the thick reddish-brown walls of the protective stone encasing you.

And be reminded of all that lies beyond.

Allow yourself to drift away with memories of the sweet chorus of birdsong serenading in the wind.

Imagine the sweet smell of wildflowers blooming all around.

And feel a yearning for union with this lifetime.

And sense a pressure building up at the base of your spine,

Warming up as its heat intensifies and begins to melt away a layer of Tiger's Eye that surrounds you.

And witness as the Tiger's Eye liquefies and fuses to the root chakra before turning back into solid rock,

Which locks in an ever greater connection to Mother Earth.

And tune into the area just below your belly button,

The sacral chakra,

And feel a warmth begin to grow.

And as the pressure swells,

You watch as another layer of the Tiger's Eye melts away.

This liquid energy slips through your belly button and settles within the sacral chakra now.

As it takes its spot within you,

Feel a deepening connection to your passion for life.

And turn your focus now to the center of your torso,

Above the navel to your solar plexus,

And feel the heat of a bright light intensifying.

And as the pressure increases,

Watch as the last layer of protective Tiger's Eye dissolves into liquid and flows within you,

Gathering in your solar plexus.

And as the liquid turns back into stone,

Feel it bring a fierce sense of self-confidence.

You are one with this lifetime,

Fully connected,

Secure,

And present.

And knowing you embody the power of the Tiger's Eye,

Allow yourself to feel grounded,

Centered,

And connected to the Earth.

And start to extend upwards from your spine and allow yourself to sit just a little bit taller.

And with the glowing Tiger's Eye within you,

Allow a sense of self-assurance wash over you,

As you now know it's safe to step into your own light.

And take a few moments to bring your awareness back to the breath.

And direct your focus to the weight of your clothes hanging from your shoulders.

And let yourself be taken back into this moment by reconnecting to the sound of my voice.

And start to visualize the room that you're in,

Picturing what colors surround you,

How the furniture is placed,

And your position in the room.

And begin to gently wiggle your fingers and your toes,

Before gently blinking your eyes open,

Taking a moment to welcome yourself back.
