Drop in to a little meditation with me.
Let's create.
A circle.
Of protection.
Around our cell.
Around our loved ones.
And create a space.
Within ourselves.
To find stillness.
And strength.
So first.

Pay attention to your breath.
Breathe deeply.
And let it out.
Mmmmm.
Pay attention to where your breath goes in your body Let it fill your lungs all the way up you Fill your belly.
That's it.
And as you breathe,
I want you to think about.
.
.
A memory.
Something that calls in.
A pleasant memory.
One where you felt content.
And calm.
Be happy.
Grrrrrr.
And allow that memory.
To flow down into your body giving you that sense from your toes to your head.
Allow your breath to carry those feelings throughout.
Every part of your being.
And I want you to notice how that feeling spreads.
It spreads.
Like waves.
Powerfully but gently.
It flows.
Like the waves.
Of an ocean.
Gently.
Lapping up against the beach.
Where you can almost hear it.
In your mind.
You can see the sea.
Calmly rolling.
Almost to a steady rhythm.
But not quite.
As if it has a life.
Of its own.
It just flows.
And it reflects how you feel dropping into your body,
Dropping out of your mind.
The tranquility of presence.
Feeling yourself there.
Smell the salty air.
Feel the sand in your toes.
Feel the breeze.
Passing by your arms.
Flowing through your hair.
Hmmmmmmmmmm because when you feel this when you notice these things.
You can be totally present.
You can feel all the others.
And stresses melt away into the background.
And you feel that flow gently washing through you.
Back and forth.
And then you might.
Feel that scene slowly.
Moving.
No way.
And being replaced by.
The Sound.
Of the breeze traveling through the trees.
Lying.
In the grass.
Feeling the tree.
Speak to each other.
In the whispers that they make.
Clean.
The branches swaying.
And how the breeze blows up.
In a cadence almost chaotic.
But organic,
Alive.
There's nothing.
But presence here.
The energy.
Of life itself.
Bringing calm.
And happiness.
And what do you feel in this scene?
In this play.
Do you see the bark?
What do you hear?
If you reach out,
Can you feel the breeze on your skin?
Breathe in that breeze.
Feel the wind enter your lungs.
And then the scene shifts again.
Where you can see the flickering.
Of a fire in the fireplace.
Crackling.
Softly.
And you can feel the warmth.
Blanket wrapped around you with the cold blizzard outside.
And if you stare into the fire.
You're seeing.
The power of your life.
The gentle flame.
That flare up.
And die down.
And flare up elsewhere.
And die down.
It's the pattern.
The vibration.
The movement.
Of the world around you.
All of it moves with a similar frequency.
And you can feel how your body gently rugs to that song.
To that vibration.
And you can feel how that vibrates.
Begins to create this circle around you.
Where you.
Are here.
In the center of it.
And inside this circle.
Is serenity.
And peace.
And all you need to do to create that circle of protection.
Is to feel that song.
The song of the wind.
The song of the way.
The song of the fire.
Just.

Sit with it.
Because when you do.
.
.
You will feel.
That protection.
Begin to hold against.
The anxiety.
The anger.
The sadness.
And all you need to do.
Is find the song in your mind.
The song doesn't need to sound a certain way.
But it always calls in.
That circle of protection.
Hmm.
Just allow yourself to be present.
Call in the image that suits you the most.
Hmm.
And feel it.
Allow your breath.
To reinforce it.
Hmm.
And if you wish,
When you finish this meditation,
You may find your own song to sing.
That calls in that spirit.
Holidays.
Is being present.
Being watchful.
Noticing.
The energy that flows through you.
And allowing.
The song to come in.
And find peace within you.
Because when you do it,
It carries with it.
Powerful yet gentle.
Healing.
It creates.
The boundary within yourself.
To feel.
Yourself.
To feel.
Grounded.
Through your feet.
Through your hands.
And the last thing that I'll leave you with.
Is simple gratitude.
Gratitude for all of these images,
These places in our minds.
The vibration of the world.
Because that.
