Cancer New Moon: Sopdet Activation

Hello and welcome.

Welcome to Everything is Energy and welcome to the New Moon and Cancer which is exact on July 5th 2024 at 3 58 p.

M.

Pacific Time.

All new moons have the Sun and Moon together and as the name indicates the Sun and Moon are together in the sign of Cancer.

Cancer is cardinal feminine water ruled by the moon often thought of as a sign of the crab.

We can think about the crab being a having a sensitive soft inner world and it in a thick exterior shell.

This is because Cancer is a very sensitive and secretive and introverted sign.

It's an inward looking sign but as it's looking inward it's this sensitivity gives it a heightened sense of intuition and imagination.

So we're gonna be again invited and supported in looking inward and tuning in and feeling into what's happening within us and in the world around us.

We also have the Sun and Moon together conjunct Venus.

Venus is not visible in the sky right now but she's gonna start to be visible on the horizon at nighttime later this month around the 23rd.

So we have Lady Venus,

Goddess Energy,

Sign of beauty and love and harmony together with the Sun and the Moon in the sign of Cancer and these are sextile to Mars.

Planet of action,

I am planet,

Conjunct Uranus,

Planet of reminding us that we are the technology that we seek.

So this I am energy is gonna work really well with the sensitivity of Cancer reminding us about our role as creators,

Our role in creating the world that we wish to see.

We're gonna be invited and supported to take even more personal responsibility for who we are and for how we are.

And this is so perfect because we also have in this chart at this time the Sun and Moon squaring Chiron.

Chiron the centaur who spends his whole life learning the healing arts trying to heal his own wounds ends up teaching all of these healing arts to everyone he meets everywhere he goes.

So the Sun and Moon squaring Chiron might have us sort of have a realization or have something come up about how we can and should use the things that might feel like challenges or weak spots or things that might be our triggers.

We can turn those around and make them our strong points.

We also have Chiron squaring Pluto reminding us that we already know how to serve.

We already know in a past life and in a very deep interconnected way we know what our offering can be.

We know the potential for how much beautiful change we can create just simply by our existence.

And finally we have Chiron squaring Venus.

Venus conjunct Castor and Pollux.

I'll get to that in a little bit.

But all of these squaring actions with Chiron are just inviting us to simultaneously step back,

Release,

But watch and realize what's coming up for us and be willing to lean into the aha moment.

The lesson that the universe,

The energies that are coming forth,

Is giving to us.

And we have a really lovely beautiful energy here in this new moon with the Sun and the Moon trying to Saturn.

And Saturn,

Typically known as the planet of karma or restriction,

Is really going to be helping us to integrate or to embody this expanding unity consciousness.

And it's worth noting that this new moon is sandwiched in between two full moons and the sign of Capricorn.

I mentioned in the previous broadcast with the first Capricorn full moon at one degree of Cap,

We're gonna be having two.

The second one comes in two weeks time from now more or less.

It's gonna be at 29 degrees of Capricorn.

That's gonna be a biggie because Pluto is activating the 29th degree of Capricorn as it's gonna head back in one last time later this year in November into Capricorn before it dips back into Aquarius.

So this new moon with all this Chiron energy,

Lady Venus showing up in the sign of Cancer,

Sun and Moon,

And Venus trying planet of karma.

It's an activation of sorts.

And I'll get to the level of the activation because there's even more for us to consider.

But let's give a little bit of background around Saturn.

Saturn is just stationed retrograde right at the end of June.

And having a stationing retrograde energy of Saturn,

Stationing retrograde is an extra dose.

It's like when a big ship has to stop completely and change directions.

There's a huge,

You can feel the pivot,

You can feel the shift.

Saturn is in the sign of Pisces and it's gonna be supporting us and in focusing and in continuing our endeavors and having the strength and the patience and the fortitude so that we can realize our highest spiritual purpose in this lifetime.

We have Saturn conjunct Nessus.

Nessus is also a centaur with a less wonderful story than Chiron,

But I'll skip the story for now.

But when Nessus shows up,

The energy that comes through or comes up supports us in recognizing patterns of abuse,

Patterns of power dynamics that are inefficient,

Breaking toxic cycles,

Karmic themes.

And not just any old kind of karmic themes or power dynamics,

But those that might be very painful or might be very emotionally intense.

That's the energetic of Nessus.

So it's perfect that Nessus is conjunct the planet of karma because the energies that are coming through all around about this time,

I think we can feel it,

Are about dissolving dense karma.

And dissolving dense karma so that we can continue to raise our consciousness and raise the collective consciousness.

Now we also have Neptune going retrograde just a couple days.

I mentioned the background energies just a couple days before the fifth when the new moon happens.

On the second we have Neptune stationing retrograde.

And I mentioned that stationing retrograde means an extra potent dose of this energy.

Neptune,

The planet of illusion and delusion.

Very strong dose of,

Because it's at the anaerobic degree of the last sign of the zodiac.

That's the anaerobic degree of Pisces,

29 degrees,

Gonna head into Aries,

Teaching us about illusion and delusion in our physical world.

So we have both Saturn and Neptune in the last sign of the zodiac in Pisces.

And this is pointing us to a larger cycle of time because having these two together,

Saturn conjunct Nessus and Neptune in Pisces,

It's worth noting that they're both gonna be shifting out of Pisces,

The last sign of the zodiac,

Into Aries at the same time in February 2026.

This is signaling to us that the times we live in are such important transformational times.

And as Nessus was indicating,

Some of this karma might feel pretty intense to witness.

Some of this karma might feel scary or bring up fears.

But this larger cycle of time is reminding us to rest assured all is well.

We are in a cosmic dance that is so much bigger than us,

But also the reminders that are coming through during this full moon are all about how important our energetic vibrational offering is.

The potential there is limitless.

And now I want to get to what I believe is the most significant aspect in the chart for this new moon.

We have the Sun and the Moon conjunct Sirius.

Not just conjunct Sirius at the same degree,

But pretty much down to the minute,

Almost exact.

Now Sirius lives at 14 degrees Cancer,

And it's worth noting that once a year,

Later in the summer,

In August,

We have the helical rising of the star Sirius.

Sirius is very important to ancient cultures,

Especially to what I understand to be the Egyptian culture.

But to have not just the Sun conjoins Sirius once a year annually,

That's a big deal.

But what's an even bigger deal is how rare this is to have the Sun and the Moon right now conjunct Sirius in the sign of Cancer.

And it's not just that they're all together.

They're together during a new moon.

They're together during a very powerful moon between two full moons in Capricorn,

With all these other aspects going on.

And they're hitting a degree that it relates to the United States,

Because one degree away from 14 degrees Cancer is 13 degrees Cancer.

13 degrees Cancer is related to 1776 on the 4th of July.

The Sun was at 13 degrees Cancer.

The 4th of July,

1776,

Is the founding of the United States.

That's not what this podcast is about,

But it gives us a larger picture into the cycles that we're witnessing,

And for us to realize,

If we think back to that energetic of how tumultuous and potentially scary and powerful that time felt,

That we are living in similar times.

Now Sirius is a binary star.

The Sirius that we see,

Sirius A in the sky,

Is 23 times brighter than our Sun.

But this star has long been associated with the awakening of humanity.

And it's in the blog,

I'll put an image,

But it's it's thought that because it's a binary star,

And the Sun and Sirius have a unique orbital relationship,

Where it's almost like the Yuga cycles.

The further away Sirius gets from our Sun,

The more humanity descends into times of darkness,

Times of lack of consciousness.

Actually,

It is precisely linked with the Yuga cycles,

Excuse me.

And these cycles of time are,

Again,

Beyond us.

But Sirius is coming closer to our Sun,

Which indicates that the light,

It's thought that Sirius beams light from the galactic center,

From our central Sun,

To our Sun.

It's as if it's finessing the energetic downloads,

And then the Sun takes the information and the light from Sirius and sends it to us.

The closer Sirius and our Sun get,

The more this energetic is clear and digestible and receivable by humanity,

By us,

Being nourished by the light of the Sun.

It's also worth noting that the Dogon tribe knew of the existence of Sirius,

Sirius A and Sirius B.

They tell of the Nomos,

The half-amphibious fish people who came down to earth in something that looked like a flying saucer and communicated to the Dogon tribe things that astronomers only figured out years and years later,

That there was a binary star that couldn't be seen by telescopes in the sky.

When anthropologists interviewed this tribe,

They described the precise relationship between Sirius A and Sirius B without any scientific knowledge.

So Sirius has long been a very powerful,

Heavenly object,

And it was known to the Egyptians to be linked with transmissions of higher consciousness.

The king's chamber in the Great Pyramid,

One of the star shafts in those chambers,

Is linked so that it aligns with the star Sirius at a very specific time.

And Sirius was also that the helical rising of Sirius,

Which takes place in August,

And I'll touch on that when it happens,

That was associated with the flooding of the Nile.

The flooding of the Nile was essential to life of the Egyptians,

And that there was an ancient Egyptian goddess,

Soptet.

She was linked to the star Sirius,

And both Soptet and Sirius were known for fertility,

Because they were linked to the Nile floods and also because they were linked to cosmic downloads.

So Soptet,

Also known as Sothis,

Was known as the personification of Sirius,

And Sirius was,

I would offer,

And many say,

The most important of the stars to the ancient Egyptians,

Because of what I mentioned,

The helical rising and the flooding of the Nile.

So Soptet,

Sothis,

Sirius were associated with inundation and fertility,

And I would offer fertility of all kinds.

The idea that fertility could mean conceiving human life,

But it could also mean,

And it did mean to the Egyptians,

Food,

Abundance,

And abundance comes in so many forms,

And fertility could also mean creativity.

The times we're living in right now,

Maybe it's creativity,

Fertility,

Collectively,

To co-create a bright future.

And I would offer that it's very beautiful and super special that Sirius and the energetic of Soptet are conjoining the Sun and the Moon during this precise new moon.

And this is an activation.

It's activating everything that is aspecting the Sun and the Moon.

So as the Sun and the Moon are conjunct Venus,

This is a powerful goddess creatrix activation.

We have Lady Venus and Goddess Soptet together during this powerful seeding time,

And then we have the Sun and the Moon trine Saturn,

As I mentioned.

Saturn is helping us to ground this new download down,

To ground it into our bodies,

To integrate it into our daily lives,

And to to help us moment to moment to moment harness the power of our contributions to the collective.

This is such a powerful new moon.

I hope that despite any challenges that may be arising in the collective,

Or in something that you are caring for the collective,

That you feel the message of this new moon is that everything is working out perfectly,

And that you can trust the universe,

And you should trust yourself,

And stay connected to your intuitive knowings,

And be willing to keep going.

Be willing to have patience.

Be willing to raise up.

Be willing to pivot,

Or shift,

Or change if need be.

So with that,

Let's get to a meditation.

Find somewhere where you can sit or lie comfortably.

Somewhere where you can close your eyes,

And where you will not be disturbed for the next period of time.

And as you close your eyes,

Bring your gaze inward.

First inward into your physical vessel.

Feel your heart beating in your chest.

Feel your chest rising and falling as you breathe.

Noticing if there's any areas in your body that are holding tension.

And for a few breaths,

Perhaps you send the warmth,

And the light,

And the energy of that fresh air,

Fresh prana,

Coming in to any area in your physical body that might need healing or release.

And if there's nowhere that needs healing or release,

Then just go ahead and allow yourself to take a few nice,

Longer,

Deeper,

Fuller breaths,

And allow your exhale to be just slightly longer than what you're now.

And feel your body,

Your physical body,

Also your emotional body,

Your mental body,

Your consciousness,

Responding to your breath,

Slowing down,

Sinking in,

Coming present.

And now I invite you to imagine to travel with me and arrive outside at night on the edge of a riverbank.

The sky with the new moon is totally dark,

Minus the twinkling stars up above.

You can barely see the river out in front of you,

But you can feel it.

You can hear it.

You can feel its energy.

You can feel the flow of the river.

And as you're connecting with the energetic of this river,

You can feel the power.

The breadth of the river is vast,

And the depth is also vast.

And the water seems to move very slowly,

But the energy is just gently,

Subtly,

Calmly a cleansing,

Continual,

Moving energy.

And as you're connecting to the energy of the river,

Looking out in the darkness,

Just at the edge of the bank of the river,

You notice that a plant begins to grow and sprout.

It's got this luminous glow about it to make sure that you can actually see it starting to sprout up out of the water.

And it's got this wonderful blue-green hue about it.

And you're watching this plant grow.

And it's growing up out of the water.

It's unfurling its leaves.

And as you're watching this,

You're walking towards this plant.

Maybe your feet even dip into the edge of the water of the river.

And now as it unfurls one of its leaves,

You're looking at connecting with this plant.

And this plant offers a scroll.

Or maybe even just as the leaf unfolds,

It becomes a scroll.

And you remember now,

You know that this is the energy of Sapte.

You realize that you are on the Nile River.

And the plant appearing magically in front of you is a papyrus plant.

And this energetic astral scroll that is being presented to you symbolizes ancient knowledge.

Ancient knowledge being offered to you now,

Being transmitted from the goddess herself,

From Sapte,

Goddess of fertility.

She held the circle of the year,

The cycle and existence of time for humanity,

For the Egyptians.

And this scroll is the transmission,

The energetic of fertility.

The power of creation,

The power of creativity,

The power of abundance in all of its forms.

And you're looking at this scroll,

And they are not English letters,

They may be hieroglyphs,

But your transmission is coming from the energetic,

Connecting with this leaf,

This scroll.

Start to receive the transmission of fertility.

Start to receive the transmission from the goddess Sapte and the star Sirius.

Both Sirius and Sapte remind us of our power to create,

Regardless of gender,

Regardless of anything else.

The power of our own fertility,

The power of our own consciousness.

And this goddess,

This energetic,

Is inviting you to feel and to receive her sustenance.

The sustenance of Sapte,

The life force energy of Sirius,

The central sun to our sun.

And this plant is giving you a transmission,

A transmission about abundance in all of its forms.

Not only is the multiple forms of abundance,

Money,

Love,

Creativity,

Food,

And friends,

But the higher octave of abundance of Sirius and Sapte is understanding the interconnectedness of the universe,

The interconnectedness of everything.

Receive that.

You are a limitless being because of your interconnectedness.

Your contribution to the whole is your contribution to yourself.

Take this transmission from this plant into your heart,

Potentially receiving the green light that is beaming from this plant into your heart.
