Hello beautiful soul,

Welcome to this Monday meditation.

I am so glad you are here,

Choosing to start your week with intention,

With presence and with consciousness.

Take a deep breath in and let it go with a sigh and again,

Breathing in deeply,

Releasing everything from the weekend,

Releasing any resistance to this new week.

I know Mondays can feel heavy.

There is this collective energy around Mondays,

This cultural story that Mondays are hard,

That they are something to tread,

To push through,

To survive,

But what if we could rewrite that story,

What if we could see Mondays differently?

Monday is actually a powerful day,

It is a threshold,

It is a portal,

It is the day of new beginnings,

Fresh starts,

Clean slates.

Monday gives us the gift of starting again,

No matter what happened last week and that is incredibly powerful.

The word Monday comes from Moonday,

It is the day of the moon,

Feminine energy,

Intuition,

Cycles and renewal.

The moon teaches us about phases,

About endings and beginnings,

About the natural rhythm of life,

And Monday carries this same energy.

So today we are going to work with the energy of Monday,

We are going to release the old stories about this day,

We are going to embrace the potential,

The possibility,

The sacred opportunity that Monday brings.

Take another breath with me,

Breathing in this new perspective and releasing any heaviness you have associated with this day.

Let's begin by arriving fully in your body,

Feel yourself sitting or lying here,

Feel the support beneath you,

Feel gravity holding you to the earth,

Bring your awareness to your breath,

Notice its natural rhythm,

In and out,

Like the tide,

Like the phases of the moon rising and falling.

Now I want you to scan through your body and notice where you might be holding tension.

Often,

On Monday mornings,

We hold it in our shoulders,

Carrying the weight of the week ahead,

We hold it in our jaw,

Clenching against resistance,

We hold it in our belly,

Anxiety about what is to come.

Wherever you find tension,

Just breathe into it,

Send your breath like a gentle wave,

Softening,

Releasing,

Your shoulders drop,

Your jaw softens,

Your belly relaxes.

Let your whole body soften now,

Your forehead is smooth,

Your eyes are soft behind your eyelids,

Your neck is free,

Your chest is open,

Your arms are heavy,

Your hands are relaxed,

Your hips release,

Your legs are soft,

Your feet are grounded.

Good,

Just feel what it's like to be this present,

This relaxed,

On a Monday.

This is possible,

This is available to you.

Now I want you to bring to mind any resistance you are feeling about this week.

Maybe it's about work you don't want to do.

Maybe it's about difficult conversations you need to have.

Maybe it's about tasks that feel overwhelming.

Just let it come up,

Don't push it away,

Acknowledge it.

And now imagine that you could set all of that down,

Just for these next few minutes.

Imagine placing it all in a basket next to you.

It will be there if you need it later,

But right now,

You are choosing to set it down.

You are choosing to be here,

In this moment,

Free from all of that.

Take a deep breath and feel the lightness of letting it go,

Even temporarily.

Notice how different your body feels when you're not carrying all of that.

Now let's connect with the energy of the moon,

The energy that Monday is named for.

Close your eyes a little deeper and imagine that it's night time.

You are standing outside under a beautiful night sky,

Shining.

Maybe it's full and bright,

Illuminating everything.

Or maybe it's a crescent,

Just a sliver of light in the darkness.

Whatever face appears to you is perfect.

The moon is looking down at you with such gentle compassion.

The moon understands cycles.

The moon knows about waxing and waning,

About fullness and emptiness,

About light and dark.

The moon knows that nothing stays the same forever.

Everything changes.

Everything moves in cycles.

The moon wants you to know something important.

You don't have to be full all the time.

You don't have to be bright and productive and on every single day.

Some days you are waxing,

Growing,

Building,

Expanding.

Some days you are waning,

Releasing,

Resting,

Integrating.

And both are necessary.

Both are sacred.

Monday carries this wisdom.

Monday says,

Here's a fresh cycle.

Here is a new beginning.

You get to start again.

What if you didn't have to carry last week into this week?

What if you could start fresh,

Clean and new?

What if you could release what didn't work and try something different?

Monday gives you that permission.

Feel the moonlight washing over you now.

It's silvery and cool and healing.

It's washing away any stories of failure from last week.

It is washing away any disappointment.

It's washing away the shoulds and the supposed tos.

It's leaving you clean,

Clear,

Ready to begin again.

The moon is speaking to you.

You are cyclical,

Just like me.

Honor your rhythms.

Some weeks you'll be more energized,

More creative,

More productive.

Some weeks you'll need more rest,

More gentleness,

More space.

Both are okay.

Stop fighting against your nature.

Breathe that in.

Let the truth land in your body.

Now,

I want you to imagine that there are two versions of you.

There's the version that dreads Monday.

The one who hits snooze.

Who drags themselves out of bed.

Who resists the week.

Who counts down to Friday.

Just see that version of you.

No judgment.

Just witness them.

And then there is another version.

This version wakes up on Monday with curiosity.

With openness.

With a sense of possibility.

This version sees Monday as a gift.

This version knows that every Monday is an opportunity to become who they want to be.

Look at this second version of you.

What do they look like?

How do they carry themselves?

What energy do they have?

Notice the lightness in their eyes.

The ease in their body.

The gentle smile on their face.

This version isn't pretending everything is perfect.

They are not toxic positivity.

They are not bypassing real challenges.

They are just choosing a different relationship with Monday.

They are choosing to work with the energy instead of against it.

And here is the truth.

This version is available to you.

This isn't some fantasy.

This is you.

Just choosing differently.

This is you deciding that Mondays don't have to be the enemy.

Imagine stepping into this version of yourself.

Feel what it's like to inhabit this body,

This energy.

Feel the openness in your chest.

Feel the curiosity in your mind.

Feel the groundness in your body.

From this place look at the week ahead.

It looks different now.

The tasks are the same,

But your relationship to them has shifted.

You are not approaching the week with dread or resistance.

You are approaching it with presence.

With intention.

With conscious choice.

What would it be like to move through Monday?

Through this whole week from this place?

What would change?

How would you show up differently?

Let's receive some wisdom about Mondays.

Monday is not the enemy.

Monday is the doorway.

It is the threshold between rest and action.

Between being and doing.

Honor the threshold.

You get to choose how you meet this day.

Yes,

There are things you need to do.

But the energy you bring to them is your choice.

Choose presence over pressure.

Choose consciousness over automatic.

Starting fresh doesn't mean forgetting what you learned.

It means not being trapped by what came before.

Take the lessons.

Leave the shame.

This week is not about perfection.

It's about showing up.

It is about trying.

It is about being present to your life as it unfolds.

So start with intention.

Start with breath.

Start with consciousness.

You are allowed to redefine Monday for yourself.

You don't have to participate in the collective dread.

You can choose your own relationship with this day.

Place your hand on your heart and feel the intention settling in.

You are making a commitment to yourself.

Not a rigid commitment that leaves no room for being human.

A gentle commitment.

A loving commitment.

You are saying,

This is how I want to be this week.

And when I forget,

I'll come back.

I'll begin again because that's what Monday taught me.

We can always begin again.

Take a deep breath and feel yourself fully present in this moment.

On this Monday,

You are not in the future,

Worrying about what is to come.

You are not in the past,

Replying what went wrong before.

You are here now,

In this moment.

And in this moment you are okay.

In this moment,

You have everything you need.

I want you to imagine now that you are filling up with light.

Monday's energy,

Moon energy,

New beginning energy.

It is filling you up from your feet all the way to the crown of your head.

You are glowing with possibility.

You are radiant with potential.

This light is giving you strength for the week ahead.

But not the kind of strength that's about pushing or forcing or grinding.

It is the strength of presence.

The strength of showing up.

The strength of choosing consciousness over autopilot.

You are taking this light with you into your day,

Into your week.

It's going to help you remember who you are beneath all the roles and responsibilities.

It is going to help you come back to your breath when things feel overwhelming.

It is going to help you choose how you respond instead of just reacting.

And remember,

You can come back to this practice anytime.

You don't have to wait until next Monday.

Anytime you need to start fresh,

You can.

Anytime you need to release and begin again,

You can.

That power is always available to you.

See yourself moving through this day now.

See yourself at work or doing whatever you are doing today.

You are grounded.

You are present.

You are breathing consciously.

When challenges arise,

You pause.

You breathe.

You choose your response.

You are not perfect.

You are human,

But you are awake.

You are aware.

You are here.

And at the end of this day,

You are going to be proud of yourself.

Not because everything went perfectly,

But because you showed up.

Because you tried.

Because you brought consciousness to your Monday instead of just surviving it.

Begin to bring your awareness back to your body in this space.

Wiggle your fingers and toes.

Roll your shoulders gently.

Take a full deep breath in and sigh it out.

The energy of Monday,

The energy of new beginnings,

Fresh starts,

Cycles and renewals.

It is inside you now.

You are not treading this day.

You are embracing it.

You are working with it instead of against it.

Before you open your eyes,

Place both hands on your heart and say this silently to yourself.

I welcome this Monday.

I welcome this new beginning.

I trust myself to meet this day with presence and grace.

I am ready.

When you are ready,

Slowly blink your eyes open.

Come back gently.

Look around with fresh eyes.

With Monday eyes.

With beginner's mind eyes.

Thank you for being here.

Thank you for choosing to shift your relationship with Monday.

Thank you for being willing to see this day differently.

You got this.

You are showing up with consciousness and that changes everything.

May your Monday be blessed.

May your week unfold with grace.

May you remember again and again that you can always begin again.

Happy Monday,

Beautiful soul.

Now,

Go shine your light.
