It is my Thursday morning thoughts on the practice of authenticity, dealing with the inner critic, and finding and being your own cheerleader, along with the discussion of seeking others who you can be your authentic self with and who will cheerlead you on the days you struggle to cheerlead yourself. Good morning friends.

Happy Thursday.

I just wanted to pop on for a moment this morning to chat about what I've posted the last couple days,

Talking about really getting to be yourself authentically and being your biggest cheerleader,

Being on your own team.

I know that this isn't easy.

There are definitely days where my inner saboteur,

My inner critic gets really loud,

Gets on the bullhorn,

And there's nothing I can do.

My poor cheerleader got stuffed in a locker and we are out of luck.

It's a rough day and it just,

It is what it is.

It's knowing that none of this is going to be perfect.

It is all an ongoing practice,

Taking it a day at a time,

Moment by moment,

Having some compassion and understanding with yourself as you go through this journey,

Knowing that you're doing the best you can with what you have.

There's nothing more you can expect of yourself,

So just go with it.

Work through it.

Keep trying.

Every day is different.

Every day is a fresh start,

A chance to find your cheerleader again,

Get her back on her feet,

Going hardcore for you,

Cheering you on,

Keeping you going,

And knowing also that some days the necessary step is to ask for some help.

Seek some support.

Seek out a friend.

Seek out a loved one that can be your cheerleader when you can't.

That's more than okay.

We're not meant to do this journey alone.

We are meant to be part of something bigger,

So if you're struggling a bit through this process,

Know that that's okay and you're not alone.

And there are people out there who are willing to walk with you,

Hold your hand,

Drag you along on the days that that's necessary to keep going.

Seek these people.

Seek the people who will cheer for your wins and sit with you on the shitty days and keep you motivated to go forward.

Whatever that looks like for you,

Knowing that some days the simplest steps of going forward is getting out of bed,

Making yourself some breakfast,

And just keep putting one foot in front of the other.

On other days you are flying high,

Getting every task on your list checked off.

And that's also awesome.

It's like celebrate when that happens,

But also celebrate when you give yourself the day of rest that you need.

Because we can't go,

Go,

Go all the time.

We're not human doings.

We are human beings.

I hope that you have cheerleaders in your life and I hope that if you feel like you don't,

That you start seeking them.

Know that I'm here if you want to connect.

We have a small group community that is here if you want to join that.

And there are people out there for you who will love you as you are,

Regardless of what that looks like in this moment.

It will be there and you need,

You need to be open to them,

To seek them.

Know that no matter what happens,

Things keep going.

Some days are easier than others.

Some months are easier than others.

Some years are easier than others.

But nothing is permanent.

Everything is temporary and you have more control than you think.

So yeah,

Work on continuing to be the beautiful soul that you are.

Seeking the people who will see and appreciate that and just shining as best you can today and tomorrow and ongoing.

Yeah,

That's kind of my thoughts for the morning.
