I'm Fabi,
And today we are going to do a meditation to close the year and to set intention a Sankalpa for the next year.
I gently invite you to find any comfortable sitting position,
Wherever you are.
Maybe sit on a block or on a cushion,
Or on the chair.
Or cross your leg,
And gently put your hands on your knee,
Either in Chin Mudra or Jan Mudra,
So the thumbs are touching the second finger.
And be sure that you are completely comfortable,
If you need to take a blanket with you.
Once you're ready,
Gently closing your eyes,
Just become aware of your physical body,
Root your legs to the floor,
Feeling your spine long,
And lengthen your spine with every inhalation.
And exhalation,
Soften a little bit more.
Relaxing your shoulder,
Open your chest a little bit.
Soften the muscle of your face,
Your head,
Your forehead,
Your eyebrows,
Your cheek,
Your tongue,
And your throat.
Become aware of your breath and the movement of your breath in your body.
Notice the gentle fall and rise of your belly with your breath.
Notice the breath into your nostril.
And become aware of the space that your body occupies here and now.
Connect with the four walls of the room,
If you are inside,
Or any natural element around you,
If you are outside.
Try to listen to any distant sound,
Some closer sound.
Connect with the sound of your heartbeat,
The unstuck sound.
If you feel that there are any unnecessary tension here and now,
Take a deep breath in with your nose,
Finding any tension to release,
And let it go with your mouth.
One more time,
Inhale deeply,
Find any tension,
And release.
Try to remember yourself at the beginning of the year,
In January.
Maybe the first day of January.
Notice where have you been,
What was your enthusiasm and intention for this 365 new page.
Try to remember your January,
The whole month.
Maybe connect with some important event that happened there.
Some people that you have met.
Or maybe some challenge that you have to face.
Or maybe some experience that marks the rest of the year.
And with your mind,
Travel back in time,
Also in February.
Remember people,
Experience,
Challenge,
Lessons to learn.
Visualize at least one important thing of that month.
Remember your March,
The beginning of spring.
When we started to go a little bit more outward.
And maybe during this month you met someone.
Or you did something different,
Special.
Remember your April.
And think about some lesson that you learned.
And how everything was evolving day by day,
Month by month.
And bring your memory back in May.
And again,
Try to focus on at least one event,
Experience.
That gives you a smile or a strong emotion.
Continue to travel with your sense and emotion in the summertime.
June,
July,
August.
Maybe a lot of things happened during this time.
Some travel.
Some events.
More people even.
The season of expansion.
Of enjoyment.
Or maybe you have a lot of work,
A lot of clients.
Notice everything that has been part of this summer.
And if during this month there is any sad or uncomfortable event.
Just try to observe it with the eyes of awareness.
Without being involved.
Just observe as we are going to.
Observing anything else.
And after summer is coming September,
October,
November.
That are the months more close to us.
Remember what has happened in those months.
Emotions,
Feelings,
Sensations,
Projects.
And finally we arrive to this last month of the year.
December.
Become aware of any single step that you take.
That brings you here.
Bring yourself to be these beautiful human beings that you are now.
Acknowledge any challenge,
Any difficulties.
Because without them you would not be able to grow.
Acknowledge any experience.
Feeling people that fill up your heart.
And give you this sense of love and belonging.
Notice if there is something that you don't want to carry with you anymore.
Breathe there deeply.
And let it go.
Inhale deeply.
And exhale any negativities,
Fears,
Worries,
Unlimited belief.
One more time inhale deeply.
And try to welcome joy,
Passion,
Love,
Compassion.
And let go any negativities,
Worries,
Fears.
Again inhale everything that you want to receive for this new year.
Filling up your lungs,
Filling up your heart.
And let go anything that you don't want to carry anymore.
Now bring your hands in Anjali Mudra in Namaste.
In a prayer position close to your heart.
Connecting with the beating of your heart.
And try to listen the whisper.
What your heart is trying to tell you in this moment.
And I invite you to find a word for your following year.
Just one word.
A word that you want to root the next 365 days.
A word that if you are feeling lost you can always come back to this word.
Any word that resonates with your soul now.
Allow this word to arrive naturally inside of your heart.
And we are going to chant together.
Three deep OM.
To send the vibration of the OM to our intention.
And allow this intention to resonate,
Expand.
And create a ripple in the universe.
Inhale for OM.
Exhale for OM.
Very gently grabbing your hands,
Generating heat with your hands.
Put this heat on your eyes,
Massaging your eyes.
When you feel ready you can open your eyes inside of your hands.
Removing the palm of your hands from your face.
And I wish you a beautiful new year full of love,
Compassion.
And that you will be able to realize anything you wish.
