Limiting beliefs are anything that we believe about ourselves that is negative. The reality is that we are powerful beyond measure, and able to become anything we choose. This peaceful meditation will help you clear away any limiting beliefs that may be keeping you from manifesting your dreams.Β Using visualization techniques you will be helped to find the belief that is holding you back, then release it, and replace it with a belief that will allow you the freedom to choose your own destiny.

Hello,

This is Amanda O'Brien.

And this meditation is to help you clear and release a limiting belief that you may have that is disempowering you from manifesting what you desire.

A limiting belief is any negative belief that we hold about ourselves.

Truly,

We are powerful beyond measure.

And you are capable of achieving anything that you choose.

But sometimes we can hold beliefs that will cause us to question ourselves or our goals.

This meditation will help to uncover and then clear one or many of these beliefs.

Before we begin,

I invite you now to close your eyes,

Take a deep breath,

And set the intention to be open to any information that may come through you during this meditation.

Set the intention to be open to your own intuition and any messages that come from within.

We often doubt ourselves or look to others for answers,

But I assure you,

You are your best teacher.

Now,

Focus in on your breath,

Grounding down into the ground,

Into your seat.

If you're lying down,

Just feel the weight of your body.

Feel gravity.

Allow yourself to feel fully present.

Begin to focus in on your breath.

Notice if it feels fast or slow.

If you feel a desire to change the pace of your breath,

To slow it down,

Notice that and then honor that desire.

If the pace of your breath feels right,

Honor that.

If the pace of your breath feels right,

Honor that.

Our body holds so much wisdom.

Now,

I want you to begin to imagine a goal,

Something that you would like to do.

This can be as big or as little as you like,

But I want you to imagine something that you have had many struggles achieving,

Or even if you have only dreamt of this and you have not even began.

If you have many things that are coming to mind for this meditation,

Just choose one and know that you can come back and do it again with as many different goals as you like.

So center yourself on this goal.

Maybe it is you wanted to learn a musical instrument.

Maybe this goal is you want to get a new job.

Maybe your desire is to find a partner.

I want you to now imagine that you have it,

Whatever it is that you desire.

Imagine that you already have it.

I want you to feel the emotions that would come with that.

Feel how it feels in your body to have this thing.

Imagine how your life would change.

Imagine who you would be.

Really begin to embody all that this would require.

As you move deeply into this visualization,

You may begin to notice that there is a small voice telling you you can't.

Telling you that it's not possible.

Pay attention to that voice and notice what it is telling you.

For example,

If you are imagining that you can play a musical instrument and you are proficient at it,

And now you can play freely anytime you want,

There may be a small voice in your mind saying you don't have the dedication.

I want you to just focus in on this voice and know in this moment that this is your limiting belief.

This is the belief that you have about yourself that is holding you back.

There's no need to feel any shame.

There is no need to feel any judgment or create any story.

We don't need to think about why you have this belief or where it came from.

It is likely that this belief is trying to keep you safe.

It is possible that this belief served you at one time in your life,

But it is no longer serving you.

Now I want you to picture that you are in a meadow in a field.

You are walking through a field and you see in the distance an old shack,

An old shed.

It's falling down.

It's broken.

It's been around for a long time.

This shed represents your limiting belief.

See it for what it is.

It's old.

It's past its prime.

It's outlived its usefulness.

Now I want you to imagine that you are taking all of the emotions and all of the feelings that surround that belief and you're going to stuff them into the shed.

You can imagine them as newspaper or kindling.

Take some time to really imagine any emotions that come up.

Fear,

Shame,

Grief,

Sadness.

Just unload them into the shed.

Next we're going to light a match and you're going to set it on fire.

You may notice that you have some fear.

You may notice that you have some resistance.

Your mind may be coming up with reasons why you can't set it on fire.

Just notice that.

Know that this resistance is simply because this belief has been around for a long time.

But you're ready to let it go.

So you light the shed on fire and you watch it go up in flames.

Imagine a huge fire burning down this belief.

Imagine releasing this belief.

Know that as you set it on fire,

This belief will rise up in smoke.

And you can let it go.

Watch the shed burn all the way down to the ground.

Now the wind comes and it begins to blow the ashes away.

There is now a clear space,

An open space where the shed used to be.

Now it's up to you what would you like to put there.

You can create a new belief.

You can build a new structure.

You can plant seeds.

What would you like to fill this space with?

You can create whatever you like.

Please know that any time you feel this belief coming back,

You can do this visualization.

Start to come back to your breath and slowly come back to your body.

Start to feel the weight of your body again.

Breathing deeply.

You feel a little lighter.

You feel a little more clear.

And again,

Just knowing that you honor anything that came up during this visualization and that you are truly capable of anything that you desire.
