This is a meditation to embrace the virtue of kindness into your life.
Let's start.
Close your eyes.
Take a deep breath in and release.
Once again.
Take a deep breath in and release.
Now just breathe naturally.
Inhaling and exhaling through your nostrils.
And just be aware of the breathing.
Observe the air coming into your nostrils.
And the air coming out of your nostrils.
Just allow the breathing to happen naturally.
Bring all your attention to the breathing that is happening right now.
Now let's center our intention on kindness.
With each inhale,
Invite a sense of kindness and goodwill into your being.
With each exhale,
Release any tension or negativity you may be holding on to.
Now bring your awareness to your heart center.
Visualize,
Feel a gentle glowing light radiating from within.
The light of kindness that resides at the core of your being.
And just allow the light of kindness to shine from your heart.
Just feel the energy of kindness and the intention of kindness.
Just allow yourself to be kindness right now.
Kindness is the act of extending warmth,
Care and consideration to ourselves and others.
It is a recognition of our shared humanity and the desire to alleviate suffering and promote happiness.
You just wish others and yourself to be well.
You wish good to all beings without expecting or wanting anything in return.
You just want the good for everyone.
For every being.
Feel the warmth of kindness spreading from your heart throughout your entire being.
With each breath,
Allow this light to expand and envelop you.
Filling you with a sense of warmth and tenderness.
Just feel the energy of kindness taking over your body,
Your energy field.
You are the kindness itself.
Know that kindness is not about grand gestures or elaborate acts.
But rather about the simple and sincere expressions of love and compassion in everyday life.
You just share the love that exists in your heart with all around you.
You just wish for everyone around you to be well,
No matter what.
You do acts of kindness just for the sake of kindness.
As you continue to breathe deeply,
Call to mind a person or situation that could benefit from your kindness.
See yourself extending a hand of support,
Offering a smile,
Or simply lending a listening ear with an open and compassionate heart.
Allow yourself to let go of any judgements or expectations.
And instead,
Embrace the beauty and power of kindness.
Know that by showing kindness to others,
You also nurture and uplift your own spirit.
Kindness attracts kindness.
If you want good things for others,
You are attracting good things for yourself.
Just be the kindness that you are.
Right now,
You are the kindness itself.
With each breath,
Feel yourself sinking deeper into a state of kindness,
Opening your heart to the beauty and goodness of humanity.
Allow yourself to be fully present in this moment,
Knowing that your kindness has the power to make a difference in the world.
Kindness attracts kindness.
Just be the kindness,
And you will see kindness in the world.
Just feel this genuine intention that already exists in your heart of being kind to others.
That's your true nature.
Kindness is your true nature.
And with each moment of kindness,
You will find yourself filled with greater joy and fulfillment.
Just allow yourself to be kind right now and in every moment of your life.
As we come to the end of this meditation,
Take a moment to express gratitude for the kindness that resides within you.
Know that you can return to this practice whenever you need to reconnect with its uplifting energy.
So slowly,
Start to come back.
Feel your body.
Move your body.
And whenever you're ready,
Take a deep breath in,
And as you exhale,
Gently open your eyes.
Carry the energy of kindness with you as you move through your day,
Knowing that you are a beacon of love and compassion in the world.
