Welcome.
This practice is for empaths,
Sensitive souls or anyone who needs a gentle pause after a long day.
After being around people,
Noise and energy.
Or simply a lot of the world.
And you are ready to come back to yourself.
This practice is here to help you do just that.
Whether that is after work.
After a social occasion.
Or simply at the end of the day that has felt like a lot.
This is a space to set it all down.
To clear what is not yours and to gently restore what is.
To come back home to your own energy.
So let's take a few moments just for you.
I invite you to find a quiet,
Safe space where you can simply be in your own energy for a little while.
Somewhere without interruptions,
Somewhere that feels right for you.
This practice can be done sitting,
Lying down or even standing.
Whatever feels most supportive for you right now.
And if it feels okay to do so,
I invite you to close your eyes or soften your gaze downwards.
Beginning to grind into where you are.
Noticing the sensations of your body touching the surface beneath you.
If you are lying down,
Feel the back of your body being held by the surface below.
If you are sitting,
Notice your back against the chair.
And if you are standing somewhere and you're able to,
You might like to remove your shoes and really feel your feet against the ground beneath you.
Just taking a moment to fully arrive here into your body.
And if it feels comfortable.
Bring a gentle awareness to your breath.
Noticing the chest rise on an inhale.
And soften on an exhale.
As noticing your own natural rhythm right now.
If focusing on the breath feels like too much,
I invite you to ground into your feet instead.
And really feel where your soles meet the surface or grind beneath you.
You can also bring a hand to rest on your heart.
Your belly or Simply feel your hands on your thighs.
Feeling the warmth of your own hands.
A reminder that you are here.
A moment to settle and arrive before we begin.
Or if it feels bright,
You can gently focus on a sound in your environment.
Something soothing or pleasant.
Be a lovely way to quietly anchor into this moment too.
Taking just a few moments to settle in and come back home to yourself.
To your own space and your own energy field.
When you feel settled and ready,
I invite you to move into the main part of today's practice.
We are going to work with a simple visualization.
To gently cleanse.
And then replenish our aura.
The aura is our energy field which surrounds our physical body.
We will do this in two parts.
First a cleansing with light.
And then a replenishment with colour.
I invite you to begin to visualise or simply sense.
A pure white light at the very top of your head.
This is a cleansing light,
A purifying light.
It does not need to look a particular way.
You could just sense its presence there.
We will move through the process together first and then I will leave you a little space to cleanse in your own time.
So beginning to let pure white light move slowly downwards.
Over your forehead.
Your face.
Back of your head.
Washing gently.
Down over your neck.
And your shoulders.
Over your chest and your upper back.
Round along your arms.
Over your hands.
The very tips of your fingers.
Continuing down.
Wavy your belly.
And your lower back.
Bang through your hips.
Your thighs.
Backs and fronts of your legs.
All the way down through your lower legs.
Your wrinkles.
Soles of your feet.
And into the very tips of your toes.
Letting that white light wash away anything that is not yours.
Any energy you have absorbed that does not belong to you.
Simply letting it go.
And if you would like to go a little deeper,
I invite you to bring your hands into this too.
You can use them to gently sweep down over your body.
From the top of your head.
Over your face and neck.
Your shoulders,
Your arms.
Your torso.
Just as if you were brushing something away from your body and your space.
This is completely optional.
Simply there if it feels right for you today.
I will leave you with either option for a few moments now.
Letting that white light move over and through you in your own time.
And gently when you feel ready.
Let that white light soften and settle.
Now we move into the second part of this practice.
Replenishment.
And this is where you get to choose.
I am going to offer you three colors,
Each carrying a different quality.
I invite you to notice which one you feel drawn to in this moment.
There is no right or wrong.
Simply trust whatever comes.
If you are feeling depleted.
Like something needs to heal or come back into balance.
You might choose green.
Of healing,
Of repair,
Of gently restoring balance and grinding your nervous system back into ease.
If you are feeling drained of energy,
Like your reserves need refilling.
You might choose gold.
Color of restoration and personal power.
Of being gently recharged and return to yourself.
And if what you need most right now is warmth and softness,
Care and comfort.
You might choose pink.
Colour of self-love,
Of nurture,
Of being held.
Take a moment to notice which colour arises for you.
Or perhaps something else comes entirely.
It's okay,
You can go with that colour too.
So to just briefly recap.
If you would like healing and balance,
Visualise green.
If you would like to restore energy,
Visualise gold.
If you would like warmth and self-nurturing energy,
Visualise pink.
And when you have your colour,
Begin to visualise it flowing slowly into your body and your energy field.
This time moving gently upwards from your soles.
As if drawing that colour back into the body.
Entering through your feet.
Maybe your legs.
Your torso.
Your back.
Your hands and arms.
Up your neck and around your head.
Surrounding you.
Filling you,
Nourishing you.
Restoring what has been spent.
If it feels bright,
You can use your hands here too.
Sweeping the colour upwards.
Or simply rest your hands on your heart or belly.
Closing your eyes and receding.
I will leave you with this for a few moments now.
And gently whenever you feel ready.
Begin to let the colour soften and settle around you.
Bringing your awareness back to the space you are in.
Noticing the ground beneath you.
The steadiness of your breath.
And noticing the quiet which has been created within you.
Taking one slow breath in.
And with a long,
Easy exhale.
Letting the body release the practice.
You are cleansed.
You are restored.
You are back in your own energy.
Whenever you feel ready,
You can begin to gently bring movement into your fingers and toes.
And slowly awaken your body.
And when it feels right,
Slowly opening your eyes and taking in the space around you.
I hope you feel a little lighter.
A little more restored.
And a little more like yourself again.
This practice is here to return to whenever you need.
Take care and see you again soon.
