I want you to know that anxiety can actually be a doorway to inner peace.
And the way that we can find that door and the way that we can walk through it.
Is when anxiety arises or any other emotion rather than running from them running to the cookie jar or the phone to start scrolling or busying ourselves instead of doing that.
If we want to find inner peace,
We have to slowly start turning with courage and compassion towards these parts of us,
These old parts that understandably we don't want to be with.
And when we can,
Instead of covering them up or running from them,
Instead of covering up or running from life,
When we courageously meet it with gentleness and compassion,
Meet these old parts of us that have just wanted to come in for so long.
Then they stop knocking so loudly on the door to be seen and heard.
And it's in this way,
By meeting these parts of us with gentleness and compassion and holding them within our awareness,
That we can start to grow in inner peace and we can start to free ourselves from these old habitual ways of resisting reality,
Resisting the inherently natural discomfort of anxiety.
So we just need courage,
We just need compassion time and again to break these old habits and to break this pattern of anxiety.
