I'd like to lead you on a little meditation to help you experience greater peace in your life.

What I'd like you to do is choose one object in the room that you're in.

It doesn't matter what it is,

But just note the characteristics of it.

Note the color,

The size,

The shape,

The texture,

Any shadows that might be on the object.

Really pay attention to that object.

What that does is it draws us out of the thinking mind into the world around us.

And then as you're ready,

I'd like you to slowly shift your gaze and do the same with another object.

Just really spend a moment noting the qualities of that object.

And then when you're ready,

Slowly move back to the first object.

But as you do,

Pay close attention to the space and the stillness between those two objects.

And the more that we can pay attention to the stillness and the space between all of these objects in our lives,

The more still and peaceful we'll become.
