Welcome to this time to take a few minutes and detach from the world around you.

Take a deep breath into your nose and exhale out of your mouth,

Grounding here into your chair,

Feeling your sitz bones,

Your thighs,

Feet on the ground,

Inhale,

Expand your belly and exhale,

Release all the way out.

We're going to come to the word of God,

1st Timothy 2,

I urge you then,

First of all,

That petitions,

Prayers,

Intercession,

And thanksgiving be made for all people,

For kings and all those in authority,

That we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness.

This is good and pleasing,

God our Savior,

Who wants all people to be saved and to come to a knowledge of the truth.

I'll pause here for a moment,

Just reflect.

This is good and pleases,

God our Savior,

Who wants all people to be saved and to come to a knowledge of the truth.

For there is one God and one mediator between God and mankind,

The man,

Christ Jesus,

Who gave himself as a ransom for all people.

This has now been witnessed to at the proper time,

Take a deep breath in,

Feeling the air,

Fill your torso,

And let that all out,

Exhale,

Expel all of that air.

One more time here,

I urge then,

First of all,

That petitions,

Prayers,

Intercessions,

And thanksgiving be made for all people,

For kings and all those in authority,

That we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness.

This is good and pleases,

God our Savior,

Who wants all people to be saved and to come to a knowledge of the truth.

For there is one God and one mediator between God and mankind,

The man,

Christ Jesus,

Who gave himself as a ransom for all people.

This has now been witnessed to at the proper time.

Feel your lungs here,

Feel your belly,

Feel your spine extending,

Exhale all the way out,

Tickling that parasympathetic nervous system,

Allowing your body to come to rest,

And blink your eyes open,

It's time to enter back into your day.

Thank you for taking care of yourself and taking this time.
