Welcome.
Make yourself comfortable either seated or lying down.
If it feels supportive,
You might place one hand at the center of your chest and one hand on your lower belly.
Otherwise,
You can let your arms rest gently by your sides.
Allow your eyes to close or soften your gaze.
Take a moment to notice physical contact,
The weight of your body,
The surface supporting you,
The steadiness beneath you.
Allow your breath to be natural for a few cycles without any need to change anything.
Just becoming aware.
You might notice the rise and fall of your chest.
You might notice the warmth or the coolness on the exhale.
And just inviting yourself to really fully come into this present moment.
You might ask for your higher self,
That deepest part of who you are,
That connection to your soul to come forward into the present moment.
In a moment,
I'll begin sending Reiki energy to help support your system in a way that is most needed.
If you would like to receive,
Simply let there be an inner yes.
If at any point you prefer to stop receiving,
You can say stop out loud or silently and the flow will shift immediately.
So let's begin.
With Reiki energy,
You may notice warmth,
Tingling,
Soft waves of sensation,
Emotional release or deep relaxation.
You may also notice very little sensation at all,
And that's completely okay.
The body will still receive what is needed,
And your only job is to receive.
Bringing your attention to the exhale.
Without forcing,
Allow the exhale to lengthen slightly.
Inhale through the nose.
Exhale slowly through the mouth,
Like a gentle sigh.
Again,
Inhale.
And exhale unhurried.
One more time,
Inhaling.
And on the exhale,
Let the shoulders begin to soften.
When you're ready,
You can return to breathing in and out through the nose,
Quiet and easy.
Anxiety often pulls our awareness forward into what might happen next.
And so we anchor here in the present moment.
You might notice three points of contact,
Such as your feet,
The back of your body,
Your hands resting,
Or the weight of your head.
Simply let your attention settle into those points.
If it helps,
You might imagine the lower body getting slightly heavier,
As though you're gently being held in place.
And bringing awareness to the top of your head,
Imagine a space opening there.
Allow the muscles of the forehead to smooth.
And let the eyes rest gently back in their sockets.
And if thoughts arise,
Let them float gently by,
Like clouds passing through a wide sky.
We're going to pause here to tune into our mental level of being.
And allow any thoughts that might be coming up to simply be welcomed into the energy.
And gently release with each exhale any thoughts that are no longer serving you,
Any fears or anxiety.
Breathing in light and exhaling to release.
And as you continue to breathe in and breathe out,
Allow the energy to gently soften anything that might not be yours.
Anything that you might have picked up from the world around you.
Breathing in and on the exhale,
Allowing them to gently soften and release.
Transmuting them back into light.
We aren't pushing thoughts away.
We aren't forcing them to go.
We're simply welcoming them in and allowing them to be surrounded in light and transmuted.
Continuing here for a few breaths.
Just allowing the entire mental level of being to be gently bathed and cleared in the Reiki energy.
And now bringing your attention to your heart center,
The center of your chest.
If your hand is there,
You might feel warmth of contact.
You might feel the breath move naturally under the palm.
And allow the chest to soften.
The front,
The sides,
The back.
And let's begin to welcome in our emotional level of being.
And if any emotion is present,
You can let it be present.
We're not analyzing.
We're just giving space.
Continuing to breathe.
Welcoming in light and exhaling to release.
Now bring awareness to the upper belly.
Beneath the ribs where anxiety can often gather.
If you'd like,
You might place hands where you feel it might be needed.
And just allow the energy to arrive like gentle sunlight.
Softening the edges of tension.
And allowing any emotions that come up to arise.
Welcoming them into the Reiki energy and then gently dissolving.
Again,
Without any sort of judgment.
Allowing your solar plexus,
The center of your energy body,
To begin to radiate brightly.
And gently releasing any energy that's not serving you.
Releasing any areas where maybe you've given your power away.
Knowing or unknowingly.
Releasing and softening areas around people-pleasing.
Allowing this energy center to begin to rebalance.
To align.
And if needed,
To activate.
So that you feel self-confident and connected in your own power.
Continuing to breathe.
Let's bring our awareness lower now into the lower belly and the hips.
This is often a place where we hold tension without realizing it.
So can you allow the pelvic bowl to soften?
Let the hips feel supported.
And let the belly be at ease.
And as we bring our attention even lower,
Allowing the Reiki energy to come down through the legs.
To the knees.
This is often where we hold tension over next steps.
Allowing this energy to soften.
Removing any doubt.
Any fears.
Continuing down further.
Enveloping the calves.
Allow your feet and legs to feel heavy.
Let them be supported by the earth.
And taking a few breaths.
Begin to sense the whole body at once.
The front body.
The back body.
Feel your breath moving with each inhale and exhale.
Feeling the warmth or the coolness of your hands.
And allowing yourself to be steady and quiet.
Now imagine your energy field gathering closer to you.
Not a wall.
Just a calm boundary.
Let any excess anxiety drain downward through the legs and the feet into the earth.
Where it can be met and composted.
And returned back to light.
Allow your system to keep only what it needs at this time.
Taking a deeper breath in.
And exhale slowly.
And as we begin to wind down.
You might deepen your breath.
You might slowly begin to come back into the room.
You might begin small movements.
Such as wiggling your fingers and toes.
You might roll the shoulders or maybe gently turn the head side to side.
And when you're ready.
Blink your eyes open.
Move slowly for the next few moments.
And let this calm be something you carry forward.
Quietly and steadily into your day.
Namaste.
