Hi,
This is Helen Robello.
I've recorded this lovely visualization for you to help you clear away the cobwebs from your system and protect your energy.
And afterwards,
Hopefully you should feel really relaxed,
Clear and energized.
So make sure that you're either seated comfortably on a chair with your feet resting on the floor or if you're used to standing in Tadasana,
Mountain Pose,
Stand with a sense of really grounding your feet,
Imagining a line attaching from the sky to the very top of your head,
The crown of your head,
Which is just gently helping you elongate your spine so that you're nice and upright.
Just for a moment,
Pay attention to your breathing,
Just coming to a place of quiet.
Now what I would like you to do is invite your awareness to a point just a few inches in front of your belly button.
So just off the body.
And now I'd like you to imagine that you are taking a line of energy or light from that point upwards in front of your body in an egg shape to the top of your head and back down the back of your body,
Sending it right down to underneath your feet and then arching back up to meet the point in front of your belly button.
So you have this lovely oval light.
Now just imagine that you are whizzing that light around from the front up over your head down the back under your feet and let it go really fast now.
Just imagine that you're almost in a car wash.
When you have a sense of this light moving really,
Really quickly,
Just begin to move it either to the right or to the left.
Again,
The car analogy helps quite a lot here.
So imagine that you're the car,
You're just whizzing this lovely rotating oval around your body over to the left,
Back over to the middle,
Back over to the right,
Moving it quite quickly,
Still vertically,
Coming back to rest in the middle again.
Don't worry too much if this seems abstract.
If you have the intention,
The energy will be there.
So now coming back to a still point in front of your belly button again,
Just a few inches off your body.
I'd like you now to imagine that you have a horizontal flow around your body,
Moving either to the left or to the right,
Around your waist,
Just off the body again,
Circling around a little bit like you've got a hula hoop or something around your waist.
Again,
Just establish a sense of that whizzing around your body like a gathrin wheel.
When you have that sense,
Just start to imagine that this is horizontally moving up or down your body,
Whichever feels right to you,
Whizzing it round quite quickly as though it's scanning through your body,
Either taking it up above your head first,
Just a few inches above your head and back down to the middle and down to your feet,
Just below,
Or the other way round.
So making sure that you just imagine this lovely flow of energy scanning,
Cleansing,
Shifting round your body,
Coming back down when you're ready to rest in front of your belly button.
You're now going to send this energy,
This lovely light around in a diagonal flow,
Arcing up the front of your body over one shoulder,
Back down diagonally behind your back and coming around the back of the opposite hip and back up the front as though you have a bag across your shoulder,
Wearing it across your body.
So when you have a sense of this whizz,
This energy round again in this diagonal flow,
Very,
Very quickly as though you have a gathrin wheel whizzing around you.
And as before,
Move this whole circuit of energy gently up or down as feels right to you,
Allowing it to cleanse your whole system as it goes,
Moving it to just beyond your body,
Either at your head first or just below your feet first and making sure that you go up and down both ways before coming back to return when you're ready to just in front of your belly button again.
So coming back to just in front of your belly button,
Send your awareness down to just below your feet.
Your fourth flow is much more gentle in time with your breath and you're going to move in a figure of eight.
So from below your feet with an in breath,
Arc the energy gently up in front of your legs,
Coming through your body at the level of your belly button,
Passing through to the back of your body,
Up behind your back to your head and then down the front of the body as you breathe out,
Coming through the body at the level of your waist and back down the back of your legs below your feet and coming back up again.
So just moving your awareness around in this beautiful figure of eight,
Moving up on the in breath,
Down on the out breath and coming back down to rest just below your feet again.
And a more circular flow this time,
So from below your feet,
As you breathe in,
Take the energy,
The light up the left side of your body,
Just to above the top of your head and breathing out,
Moving it back down on the right,
Coming back down below your feet,
Breathing in again,
Move a smaller circle up your left side,
Up to the level of your waist,
Through your waist and back down again,
Underneath your feet.
So just repeating those circuits again in your own time,
Moving up on the in breath,
Down on the out breath,
Enjoying this lovely slow cleansing energy,
Cleansing light,
Encircling your body,
Coming back down to rest at the feet.
And breathing normally,
Just send that beautiful energy,
That lovely light in a spiral to corkscrew around your body,
Either to the left or to the right,
As feels right for you,
Sending it up towards your head,
To just above your head and then lazy spiralling its way back down again,
So that it cocoons you in a lovely network,
A lattice work of light.
And softly letting that focus go in your own time,
Just coming to a place of rest,
Of stillness,
Just observing how your body feels.
And shifting your awareness back down towards your feet,
Coming back to a real sense of the ground underneath you,
Just taking a deep breath in,
Sighing the breath out.
And have a wriggle and a stretch and in your own time come softly back to full awareness of the room,
Opening your eyes and preparing to really enjoy the day ahead from this lighter,
Brighter,
Much freer place.
