Thank you for joining me in another meditation.
For today,
I invite you to go back to your safe space,
Wherever that was when you were a child,
Where you felt emotionally and physically safe,
Where you felt protected,
Seen and accepted.
You don't need to overthink it,
Just let whatever that place is come to mind.
Once you get there,
Take three deep breaths.
Inhale in,
Exhale out.
Inhale in,
Exhale,
Let it go.
Inhale in,
Taking the deepest breath,
Hold it at the top.
And on your exhale,
Let it go.
I invite you to fully rest in this space.
We're going to jump into the senses to fully immerse ourselves back.
So starting with taste,
Are there any flavors that come to mind?
Maybe a flavor of your grandma's house,
Maybe a summer day eating a popsicle,
Just let it come to mind.
Moving on to your nose,
What does this place smell like?
Are you outside or inside?
Be as descriptive as possible,
Let the sense fill your nose,
Fill your heart,
And fill your soul.
I invite you to think about what you hear,
People's voices,
Maybe even the background noise,
Maybe an air conditioner,
A heater,
An airplane,
What fills your ears?
Keeping your eyes closed,
What do you see?
Any faces,
Vibrancy of colors,
Maybe patterns,
Designs,
See everything.
Gently inviting in any sensations that flow through your body,
In your heart,
Maybe through your hair,
Your arms,
Putting the entire picture together with all of your senses.
What do you feel and where do you feel it?
Let yourself be there.
I invite you to bring a smile to your face.
Take a deep breath,
And slowly come back to this moment.
Send gratitude to your safe space,
Send it love and appreciation.
