Welcome to a nice short and sweet morning meditation with me.
My name is Gabriella and to begin,
You can either be lying down or sitting up,
Whatever feels most comfortable for you.
When you're ready,
Gently close your eyes and settle into your body,
Into this space,
And into your breath.
Take a grounding inhale in,
Hold it at the top,
And on your exhale release,
Let it go.
Take another inhale in,
All the way in.
Take a gentle pause,
And when you feel ready,
Exhale it all the way out,
Feeling your belly button pull towards your spine.
Gently bring one hand to your chest and the other to your belly to simply sit for the next few moments,
Just you and your breath as it flows through your body.
Keep your mind calm,
Everything that is on your to-do list will get done and it can wait,
But right now,
Bask in the moment of simply being with you.
Slowly begin to come back to the space around you,
Wiggling your fingers,
Gently lifting a smile onto your face,
And slowly opening your eyes,
Letting this transition back into the real world be gentle and smooth.
