In this practice,
We will release anxiety and tension,
Allowing ourselves to find peace and tranquility within.
Find a comfortable position,
Whether seated or lying down,
And gently close your eyes.
Take a moment to settle into your body,
Allowing your breath to become steady and deep.
As you inhale,
Imagine breathing in a soft,
Warm light,
And as you exhale,
Envision releasing any tension or worry that resides within you.
Inhale and exhale.
On your next out-breath,
Bring your awareness to your physical body.
Notice the points of contact between your body and the surface beneath you.
Feel the gentle support beneath you,
Grounding and stabilizing you in this present moment.
Allow any tension you may be holding in your body to gradually melt away.
As you continue to breathe,
Visualize a wave of calmness washing over you,
Carrying away any anxious thoughts or feelings.
Feel the cool air entering your nostrils,
Traveling down into your lungs and expanding your chest.
As you exhale,
Imagine releasing all the stress and tension that has accumulated within you,
Allowing it to dissipate with each breath.
As you continue to breathe deeply,
Bring your focus to your thoughts.
Acknowledge any worries or anxieties that may be present,
But remind yourself that this is your time to release them.
Imagine each worry as a cloud passing through the sky of your mind.
Observe these clouds drifting away,
Leaving behind a clear and serene expanse.
You are not your thoughts,
And you have the power to let go of those that do not serve you.
On your next out-breath,
Visualize yourself standing on the edge of a tranquil lake.
The surface of the water is smooth and calm,
Reflecting the surrounding beauty of nature.
As you gaze upon this serene scene,
Notice any ripples or disturbances on the surface of the water.
These ripples represent the anxieties and tensions you have been carrying.
Take a moment to honor these ripples,
Acknowledging their presence and the lessons they have taught you.
But now,
Imagine reaching out with both hands and gently smoothing the water,
Allowing the ripples to dissolve and disappear.
As you do this,
Feel the weight of your worries and anxieties being lifted from your shoulders,
Freeing you to experience a gentle sense of peace and calm within.
As you stand by the water's edge,
Feel a gentle breeze caress your face.
Allow it's soothing touch to carry away any remaining tension,
Leaving you feeling lighter and more at ease.
As you breathe in this fresh air,
Inhale a renewed sense of calmness and exhale any lingering stress.
Continue to immerse yourself in this serene environment,
Fully embracing the stillness and tranquility that surrounds you.
Know that you can return to this place of inner peace and release whenever you need to,
Carrying the tools and techniques you have discovered here with you into your daily life.
Take a few more moments to savor the peace that now resides within you.
Feel the gentle rhythm of your breath,
The stillness of your body,
And the clarity of your mind.
Know that you are capable of releasing anxiety and tension,
