You've done a lot today,
Led,
Held,
Responded,
Decided,
Maybe even smiled through exhaustion.
This moment is for you to return,
To land,
To be.
Take a deep breath in through your nose and let it go out through your mouth.
We'll begin a gentle scan,
Just noticing where you might be holding tension from the day.
Start with your jaw,
Unclench,
Let gravity take over.
Now your shoulders,
Drop them just a little more.
You don't need to carry it all.
Move your attention to your chest.
Can you feel your breath?
Your heart?
Now down to the belly,
Loosen.
And finally,
Your feet.
Feel where they meet the ground or imagine roots extending downward,
Reminding you you're still here.
Now bring your hand to your heart,
If that feels safe.
And say to yourself,
I do not have to be strong all the time.
Even when I feel stretched thin,
I can be soft with myself.
My resilience lives in my return.
I am allowed to rest.
I am allowed to come home to me.
Take one last breath together.
And you can come back to this place,
This presence,
Anytime.
Because resilience isn't just what you push through.
It's also what you allow yourself to come back to.
