Welcome to this night time guided meditation for sleep,

Tonight you will breathe in soothing golden light,

Immersing yourself in a calming state of being.

So snuggle up in your warm cosy bed and shut those tired eyes and let's begin to relax.

Feel your head,

Back and legs lay comfortably on your mattress,

Allowing them to sink into the bed as you consciously relax all parts of your body now.

Breathe slowly,

Deeply,

In and out through the nose at a pace that feels good to you,

Feeling the expansion within you as you inhale and feel the softness and release within you as you exhale,

Allowing the body to find a place of stillness and relaxation.

I now welcome you to breathe in soothing golden light,

You may visualise this in your minds eye as a soft luminescent golden light flowing into your nostrils from above and bringing soothing energy through your body as you inhale and exhale.

As you exhale it flows gently up from your belly and heart space and back through your nose before it repeats this loving abundant comforting cycle.

Let this soothing breath of golden light penetrate all levels and layers of your being,

Allow it to soak effortlessly into every single cell,

Touching all parts of you with its gentle warmth,

With its loving expansive radiance.

This beautiful golden light instantly brings calm and relaxation to all it touches and surrounds.

Breathe in this soothing light deeply and slowly,

Feeling into its beautiful support that it is offering you in this moment.

You feel so held and nurtured,

So at peace in your body,

Mind and heart,

Allowing breath,

Allowing light,

Allowing love.

You feel yourself now fading into a sleepy state,

Feeling so blessed in this moment you are ready to drift off into a good night of deep sleep.

This soothing golden breath of light will continue to be present with you as your conscious awareness of the breath fades away.

You are safe to flow and enter into a time of sweet dreams.

Bathe in the love and nourishment of this soothing breath of light.
