This love meditation is a combination of focused breathing and a gentle meditative language of prayer. It is an invitation for anyone struggling with anxiety, fear, or panic attacks. This meditation is a gentle and safe place to regain peace, feel calm, and eradicate thoughts and feelings of panic. This is an excerpt from my personal journey with mental health in my family and has proven to restore a healthy mindset from extreme panic induced paralyzation. Soothing music by Carl Wergin.

Welcome and thank you for accepting the invitation to choose love today,

To choose love over fear and to choose love over panic and stress and anxiety.

I know there are many times in our lives when things get the best of us and even when we are usually really good at managing our emotions and our stress levels,

Sometimes it can become overwhelming and we find ourselves in a place of anxiety or panic.

And I'd like to share with you today a meditation that helps me and has helped other people that I love in the moment of panic.

I know there are lots of meditations out there,

I know there are lots of prayers,

I know there are lots of techniques.

My hope is that this can be one of the methods you turn to to help you in that time of need.

So this is a combination of meditation and language of prayer.

I'm going to use the words love and God interchangeably and I invite you to choose the one that feels the best for you.

I discovered that this was crucially effective during a very frightening time,

The most frightening moment I've had in my whole life,

Which involved my child and a panic attack that caused paralyzation throughout his body,

Which happened right in front of me.

I watched it take place and this is one of the ways that we were able to change that and it's very meaningful to me and I hope it helps you.

So thank you again for accepting this invitation.

I'd like to hold one of your hands in one of mine.

I'd like to put my other hand on your heart and place your hand on my heart.

I invite you to close your eyes with me and simply repeat after me and breathe with me.

Let's breathe in,

Breathe out and say the words,

I'm okay.

Breathe in,

Breathe out.

I'm okay.

Thank you God for filling me up from the top of my head to the tips of my toes,

The heels of my feet.

Breathe in,

Breathe out.

Say I'm okay.

Thank you for taking the fears away from me and in their place,

Depositing love.

Breathe in,

Breathe out.

Say I'm okay.

Thank you for knowing what I need in this moment.

Breathe in,

Breathe out.

Say I'm okay.

Thank you for calming me.

Thank you for loving me.

Thank you for releasing everything that hurts.

Breathe in,

Breathe out.

Say I'm okay.

Thank you love for surrounding me,

For encircling me,

For taking over my body.

Breathe in,

Breathe out.

Say I'm okay.

Thank you God for taking over whatever it is that needs to be taken over.

Breathe in,

Breathe out.

Say I'm okay.

Thank you love for guiding me,

For guiding my thoughts,

For guiding my heart,

For guiding my breath.

Breathe in,

Breathe out.

Say I'm okay.

Thank you God for healing me in this moment.

Thank you love for healing me in this moment.

Breathe in,

Breathe out.

Say I'm okay.

I'm okay.

Say I'm okay.

Thank you love for replacing every ounce of fear with peace from the top of my head to the tips of my toes and the heels of my feet.

Thank you for infusing every cell of my body with love and peace.

Breathe in,

Say I'm okay.

Thank you God for healing me through every cell of my body,

Every hair on my head,

Every breath,

Every movement.

Thank you for healing me like only you can.

Breathe in,

Breathe out.

Say I'm okay.

Thank you love for never leaving my side,

For always being the guiding light,

For reminding me that I'm okay.

Breathe in,

Breathe out.

Say I'm okay.

Thank you God.

Breathe in,

Breathe out.

Say I'm okay.

Thank you love.

From the top of my head to the tips of my toes,

The heels of my feet,

I feel my fingertips,

Feel my shoulders,

Feel my neck as I gently move my head,

I feel my back,

Feel my stomach as I breathe,

As I breathe in,

Breathe out,

Say I'm okay.

I feel my hips,

My legs,

My knees,

I rotate my ankles,

I feel my wrists,

My elbows,

I can feel them all and they're all okay.

Everything is okay.

God's got me.

Love's got me.

Breathe in,

Breathe out.

Say I'm okay.
