What if today you create a sensational day?
Good morning.
Get yourself comfortable.
You can do this seated,
Lying,
Or walking.
Take a soft breath in and let it out with a sigh.
Another soft inhale,
This time a longer exhale.
Sense where your body is meeting the surface beneath you.
Can you sense the weight of your body moving downwards?
Can you bring your attention to the top middle of your head?
And now imagine there's a string attached there and a bird comes in,
Gently pulls it up towards the ceiling.
Let it be subtle,
Less is more.
Can you let that pull create a little length down through your neck,
Your upper back,
Mid back and lower back?
And now can you let yourself relax in this length and let yourself be held instead of trying to hold yourself?
Now bring your attention around your body,
Like you're sensing the space right next to your body and skin.
Imagine three things you sense around you right now.
Maybe temperature.
Maybe air on your face.
Maybe the spaciousness around your shoulders.
Pause and name three sensations that are present for you,
Around you.
Now bring your attention to the surface of your body.
Name three things you sense on your body.
Maybe clothing on your skin.
Maybe your hands resting on your legs.
Maybe pressure where you're supported.
Now bring your attention inside your body.
Name three things you sense in your body today.
Maybe a pulse.
Maybe tightness.
Maybe softness.
Maybe a place that feels neutral.
And if you notice your mind trying to analyze,
That's okay.
Let your body answer instead.
Name these three sensations in your body.
Now choose three sensations you're welcoming today.
Maybe it's steadiness.
Maybe it's ease.
Maybe it's aliveness.
Maybe it's softness.
Maybe it's groundedness.
Choose yours.
Name these three sensations that you're welcoming today.
Let these sensations be your tone for the day.
Like you're giving your nervous system a direction.
Now place a hand somewhere that feels supportive.
It can be your heart,
Your belly,
Or anywhere.
And silently repeat to yourself,
May I be safe.
May I be at peace.
May I be loved.
May I be abundant.
May I be guided.
And as I move through today,
May what I cultivate in myself ripple outward.
May my presence serve the world.
