Let's breathe together.
Simply notice your breath and allow it to be as it chooses to be right now.
Follow your breath as your eyes would follow a dancing,
Fluttering butterfly.
Feel your breath moving,
Floating,
Cascading,
Running,
Resting.
And now with intention,
Let's breathe in together.
Focusing on the in-breath and gently letting it go.
Again focusing on the in-breath and just noticing your flow.
And as you continue to breathe in,
Allow your breath to soften.
And feel your whole self absorbing the whole breath.
The breath is all that life has to offer us.
It is life-giving.
Can you receive this breath completely?
Feel the expansion in the body,
In the mind,
In the vibrational body.
And let it go.
As you know and trust,
There will be another one.
And so,
Breathe in again.
And you don't try and hold on,
You just let it go.
And now let's pause that focus.
Let's move our awareness outside of the body.
Maybe take it to something that you are busy doing right now.
Or something that you're sitting on or looking at.
That's the beauty of breathing.
It is part of all of our experiences.
We don't need to stop and just breathe.
We breathe while we are living.
We live while we are breathing.
And as you continue to notice,
Engage with an activity,
A sight,
A sensation,
Return your attention to your breath once more.
And as you maintain a connection with the breath and the other focus,
Gently breathing in and then gently letting the breath rest.
And then allow the movement of the breath again.
As you either exhale or inhale.
And then once again,
Breathing in gently and now hold the breath.
And as the breath is resting,
Become highly aware of your other focus.
Become in tune with it.
And then let the breath go.
Repeat that process once more for yourself in your own way with the holding breath.
And now letting go of all focus of the breath,
Of anything else,
Relaxing the mind,
Allowing it to wander.
And then once more,
Bringing the breath back to your attention as we're going to gently focus on the exhalation.
Gently breathing in and slowly breathing out completely.
And you extend the exhalation just a little bit longer.
Very gentle in-breath and then a slightly extended out-breath.
And again,
Breathing in and let that go.
And once more,
Breathing in and exhale.
Exhale some more and repeat with a focus on the exhalation once more in your own way.
And now let's focus on our heart in the center of the center of your chest.
Notice the sensations there.
And now let's intentionally breathe into our heart center.
Close the breath and then exhale again from the heart center.
Breathing into the heart,
Pausing in the heart and exhaling from the heart.
And again,
As you breathe into your beautiful heart,
Do so gently,
Feel it opening like a flower and rest in the center of this flower's fragrance as you slowly let that go and allow it to continue to unfold in its own natural way.
Just as you now allow your breath to be in its own natural way.
I invite you to repeat this process of conscious breathing for 11 minutes every day for the next 30 days as we all connect to this breathing challenge individually and collectively.
